Here is a special topic I've created to help give examples as to what keeps us together and active. What helps you to do what you love to do? Whether it is racing, the workplace, friendships, even love and marriage, something keeps us going so that we can be our best. So I will begin on this note.
GTPlanet.net is a damn good site. It has some wonderful GT material, and an excellent forum site with colorful characters. I was looking at two different, slightly old threads that had me laughing. To me, being 21 years old with the heart and endurance of a child keeps me going. I remember when I made a long post for GT4 Topic "Shipping March 18th?" about whether or not GT4 would ship at that time. As you know, it never happened. But just to see someone look at my makeshift review of GT4 Prologue (even though I don't have it), someone said, "*sniff* That was beautiful, John..." I got much respect for Kart Racer, wonderful person. Saved most of my "Drifting and Other Motorsports" topics from being neglected. And I can recall saving a damsel from "distress." Her topic (well, before I found out McLaren was female) was entitled something like "People Say I Drive...a White Boi." Being the expressive character that I am, McLaren'sAngel was added to my party. I've always thought GT3Freak_2001 was a pretty cool person as well. His compliments in my "Menu and Presentation Considerations" topic were very substantial to the success of my topic. And there are many others that keep me to come up with great discussions and interesting (and sometimes strange) topics. I do those topics because I know that at least 0.0001 of GT fans have some sort of curiousity about thoughts posed. So I guess you can say that what keeps me going on GTPlanet is the dedication and support of the many folk around the world, both male and female.
So what keeps you going? Surely, I know everyone must have something that keeps them in the game. So, what about you? And by the way, I know I didn't mention what two topics were funny to me. May leave that undisclosed.
