What is a good 3rd car?

I am going through the game now starting out on some of the pro league races and I am not having much luck with my car any more. I was hoping some of you who have been playing this longer than me could give some most needed advice on a 3rd car. Right now I have a 3000GT VR-4 Turbo.

If you save up 352K you can get the Zonda C12S. For its price it is one of the better cars in the game. A few minor buys and adjustments and you have a car the accelerates 0-400m in less than 9.5 seconds, and has a top speed of well over 200 ( I think mine was 220). Its important to always buy a full customizeable transmition so you can set the final gear higher/lower. If you want something a little more cheap but very good too go with the Lotus ESpirit V8 SE. If ya want Vipers are good too.
 
Ive only purchased about 6 cars so far on the game but my 3rd car was Beetle RSI but that was for the beetle cup. Though my real 3rd car (not to be used in a single series of races) was also the Zonda mainly because i wanted a seriously fast MR and NA tuned car. Cause i brought this car i also wiped the floor with the Avante Gard trophy aswell. After that it was retired and the Zonda Race Car took its place
 
I say any of the Lancers suped up I have a garage full of them, but they fit my driving style. I wish they had test driving in GT3...

My second car was the evo and I saved my credits by winning races. Then I won a skyline in a race and modified it all the way. After that it was a breeze winning good cars. In other words. try to win all the cars you need and use your credits to modify them.

teh easyist is to get teh imprezza sti 4wd as you second car and put some horses in that sucker and throw on some dirt tires and tear up the rally by the end of that oyu will have between 300g's and 1 mill depending how much oyu sell the cars and what not, but after that get a gas fast car because you should be good at driving by then and you can get away wiht alot, so i got the RUF CRT2 or whatever it is and made it go real fast and it was good for the 4wd adn the boxer spirit race and from there on in you should be set adn have fun, i know i will get ****ted on because the RUF does have poor handling traits if not tuned correctly
 
I'd say.... a RUF RGT would do well. I think they are alright overall, but you might want to test one first. A Z06 is what I always standy by for a good car
 
I would say the best third car would be the Viper, with the best upgrading (which should only cost about 120,000 at the most you can really fly and with some tweaking and adjusting you can make it a bad machine, so that it gets up fast as crap, tops out at like 240 and still brakes and turns good as crap. It's a nice starter and can get you through a bunch of the races on beginner and amatuer. Hope this helps. :)
 
my third car was the f090/s i started with the spinter and then i bought a lancer evo 6 rs and won the super speedway enduro but otherwise either buy a r34, 3000gt or a supra all of them are good cars that are fast and handle well
