Worst-name-ever Award still goes to Subaru for the BRAT. God I would feel so embarassed to drive a "truck" called the BRAT. I mean what in God's name where they thinking when they decided to call the thing that? Did they realise what it brings to mind?

They did realize the connotation and that was the point - just like a brat is a wild little child, the Subaru BRAT was supposed to be a wild little truck. I think it's aptly named - B9 Tribeca is far worse.

BRAT, by the way, was an acronym - for "Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter." "Bi-drive" intended to refer to four-wheel drive, cutting edge back in 1978.
