Since im bored of using my cars I would like a fun car

I have 3mil but im not spending it all

Cheers:cheers:

Suzuki Cappuccino, race mod it, reduce weight, and drift.

as in many "the best" thread, you have to define what is fun for you.

Something with lots of BHP and FR drivetrain

Already got the RM Cappuccino.

I get lots of fun out of the Art Morrison '60 Corvette. Looks great, and drifts/races really nice :)

tommy kaira zzii, fully tuned, chrome painted, 30/70 torque and fatttty drifts.

Enzo. Volvo 240 will lay down some drifts and look like a brick doing it. I've had some good times with my WRX's in the dirt/snow. The world is your oyster. Keep an eye on the UCD and I'm sure you'll find something quirky and different to whip around for a while.

Get a TVR speed 12. It shreds tires like no tomorrow.

You'll probably want a lot of space in the back seat....

Personally. I like the premium Esprit V8. :)

SLS
SLR
LFA

All fun, in that order.

Then you'd probably want the Dodge Ram... with the pickup bed :sly:

Honda Odyssey and Element. Scion xB. Volvo 240 GLT Estate.

Throw money at them, take them online, and revel in your awesome as you blow past unsuspecting opponents.

+1 👍

I couldn't resist the Volvo when it came up in the used cars. Dropped something like 250,000 credits into it now with every possible mod. Soooo much fun to pass sports cars in online races with that thing
Made sure to keep the beige metallic too for the full sleeper effect :)

Having owned one irl, I gotta put some respect up for the Nissan S13 Silvia, being FR it's easy to drift in stock or tuned form, throw a turbo on her, decent set of rim's and let the trigger fly! 👍

For me any NSX from super gt dealerships and BMW M3 GTR race car

Awesome. My Odyssey is some bright orange and the xB is Reflex Spice (pimp). I haven't settled on a color for the Element and Estate, but I'll probably do something obnoxious.

👍

RUF Yellowbird... Now that's a handful to master!

Isuzu Coupé 117R I think that's the model, a model from the 70, give it around 230-250 horsepower and go drive it, it has a slight oversteer that is very predictable and very easy to control. One of the car I have the most blast on, always put a smile on my face.

fully tuned dodge viper gts. There's seven reasons to buy that car: 1. It does burnout on reverse 2. It does burnout on 1st gear 3. It does burnout on 2nd gear 4. It does burnout on 3rd gear 5. It does burnout on 4th gear 6. It does burnout on 5th gear 7. It does burnout on 6th gear (or maybe not).

Lambo Gallardo without doubt. Tune it to the max and put sport soft tyres on and it will be a very quick car that handles well but because of the power can also drift like crazy.

The 4wd makes drifting much easier to control as the front wheels "pull" the car in the required direction when countersteering.

I have around 550 cars in my garage at the moment and this is definately my favourite to have fun in.

F430 06 or the Scud 07 version Sport Hard offline, Soft online. Tons of fun as a grip style car and can drift when you spot a hot chick in the crowd.

I had a ton of fun with driving the California with the top down in Madrid.

Take the 69 vette convertible round SS5 cockpit view on stock tyres (comfort softs). Great fun.

Actually if you normally race everything on slick, just change it up to stock tyres

I have yet to see any standard car that is fun. In the last generation that bumper cam worked, but not anymore. Standard cars are an unpleasant grind, and reserved for b-spec whenever possible.

Most fun cars I've used so far are a bone stock 2007 Miata with comfort softs, especially on Tsukuba. Or the Cobra with no driver aids enabled, because it is terrifying (particularly on a DS3).

Also enjoyed the Daihatsu OFC concept, much to my surprise (because it's FF, which = boring).

Disagree! Standards use the same physics as premiums, so drive just as nicely. Also, as nice as the dashboard view is, nothing beats bumpercam for accuracy.

Any lotus Elise (prefer the '04 111R), and my personal favorite, the Buick GNX. Put some Sport Softs on her, mid range Turbo, keep the suspension low but springy and its a blast.

It's not about the physics in this case, precisely because, as you said, it's the same driving model.

However, look at all the attention to detail shown to the Premiums vs Standards, many of which are direct CnP from GT4 by all accounts. Not just interiors, but externals, audio, and damage. I find it hard to beleive that they didn't also put more time into the underling data that defines the handling too.

And yes, bumper cam is good for accuracy. I noticed that early on, turn off the interior and run better.

But that's the point.

In the IL2 world (PC Flight Sim), we call the equivalent "wonder woman view", and it is held in extreme disdain. Ranks right up there with cheating, because in a sense, it IS cheating.

Here me out - in a simulation, the idea is to, well, simulate not just the given bit of machinery, but also the experience of piloting it. This means that visuals are important (ie, graphic quality of the envrionment and externals of other vehicles and so on), but most importantly the primary thing the pilot would see around him... his cockpit. Not only for reading gauges, but also, and perhaps more so, to provide the _limitations_ that being stuck inside imposes, as well as provide greater sensation of "being there".

This is why a dinky '68 Fiat 500 or VW Sambabus are more fun than a '99 GT-R V•spec N1, which is standard only.

Again, every simulation most be accepted for the limitations of the hardware used to run it, and the PSX almost certainly didn't have the power for interiors, and with 14 people on the crew, corners had to be cut. That's fine, and for it's time, GT1 was par excellance. It could claim it's self-applied sub-title. By the time of GT4, it was pushing it, but, due to history and other content, it got away with it. But now that we have interiors on a next gen console... there is no excuse anymore. (I can see adding them since they are already "there", but time needs to be taken to use standards as a half step, tossed in just to flesh out the numbers and make past fans happy rather than revoking them, but the effort should be made to upgrade them to premiums - particularly when we have a friggin premium prius of all things)
