So i have been wondering. What is the Best car in the game? I love speed so i really want to own the Best car in the game.

Is it the x2011?
Or is it the X1 Carbon?
Or is it the X1 Vettel
Or is it the standard X1?

Those are fastest but far from best 👍
I think PD must separate GT and Wipeout on GT6....

When i say "Best" i mean which is the fastest around a track? :-)

Which track?

The answer to your question can have an incredible amount of variables. Because of driving styles, tunes, modifications and so on and so on....

In my limited experience, the RedBull Prototypes are faster than anything else, however that does not mean I can drive one faster around (insert any course here), because there are so many variables.

The X models all have the exact same performance levels except for the X2011 which has a tiny bit more horsepower than the rest. So the literal answer for your question is the X2011. However I do know people who prefer the 2010 over the 2011.

I prefer the X2010 Vettel model, but is the standard model ( the one you Can buy at level 40) better than the Vettel model?

The X2011 w/downforce set all the way down is a rocket, an incredibly unstable rocket.

There really isn't any difference between the S.Vettel X2010, the Prototype or the one you can buy in the shop.

Wrong. There is, the X2011 DLC prototype has apr 80bhp more when broken in and a different aerodynamic setup giving it a faster top end speed without draft.

Best does not mean fastest. Fastest means fastest and in that case, the X Series, if driven well, are the fastest. Best however, is a competely different story and a catagory in which the X series doesnt fit in, in my opinion anyway. Even "Best around a track" cant include the X series as its a matter of personal opinion, and most the people I know despise driving the X series for the sheer fact that you need reaction times so fast its ridiculous. So, use Fastest instead of Best to save some confusion.

As for the Fastest, as said earlier, it all depends on Driving style, tune, who's driving and many other variables. For me, the X2011 is faster, second is the Vettel, then the 2010 Prototype followed by the Coloured that you buy in the dealership. But I have tuned the X2011 more than the others.

Considering only "fastness" and "facility" of beating events without any difficulty, the X2010(or X2011 if you've already obtained a car pack) can strongly be recommended, but you must take note that the they do destroy the concept of the competition in exchange of extreme easiness of winning in a contest. So if you want to have the grain of delight in the races or want to improve your true driving skills with painful efforts you had better use one with less mechanical power.

The range of inclination does differ per person, but you'll come across with one through quest for your favourite vehicle. ;)

X1 2011 have a different and better airfoil. Its more wide (the airfoil), givng the car more downforce and, by consequence, stability. It does have a bit more horsepower.

About the others I didnt notice any difference between all X1 2010.

The best car in GT5 is the one that you can drive around a course all day and never get tired of doing so.
That car, for me, is my little Fiat 500.

For me, its the Mitsubish GTO Twin Turbo 1996 I just love the way it looks and I wish i had a better job that paid more for me to actually find one and own one.

Also, unless ive missed someone the Redbull liveried one does have different gear ratios making it slightly faster on acceleration, think its gears 1 to 5 that are shorter.
