Hi

What is the best value (cheap) Photoshop suitable for Windows XP?

Thanks in advance:)

I'm pretty sure Photoshop only comes in two versions. Photoshop CS4 (Full) and Photoshop Elements 7 (Light). Elements is about 100 bucks, CS4 is about 700.

There is CS4, CS4 Extended, and then Lightroom...which isn't really a true Photoshop from what I just looked at.

Try Gimpshop. I found it met my needs well a few years ago, except for CMYK support. Excellent price too.

There's always GIMP, which is free open-source, but it has a different look and feel which may be bothersome if you're experienced in Photoshop. There's also GIMPshop, which present GIMP in menus closer to Photoshop's appearance.

Tree'd. (But I provided a link!) :sly:

I've never used a editing program in my life. I found some tutorials so they could help me, but I need Photoshop to do those tutorials (I really want to do those Photomode Comps and edit cars like put body kits on them).

Well I think you should try Gimpshop and see if the tutorials work with it.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like you need a $700 program to try to play around with body kits.
