Hey! I have decided to put some real money Into my hobby! Today im playing racing games with just my keyboard and i would like to get such an realistic experience as possible from my new setup.
The only problem is that i have no experience with sim racing and i am then handing over the setup part to you guys! What should i buy? I have been thinking of a thrustmaster t500rs along with the shifter and a playseat, the Fanatec clubsport pedal looks very cool too i have to say, its a shame that they cost very much though. My budget is as stated in the title around 1200eur. Thanks.

What sims do you play? I see you mentioned a keyboard, so I'm assuming you're talking about PC based sims. But, seeing how this is GTPlanet, I don't want to discount the fact that you might also do some console gaming. I think all of the equipment you listed would be a perfectly fine starters kit for sim racing. My brother owns a playseat and he loves it. He hardly ever played Forza 5 (his only racing/driving game) before he bought the Playseat. Now he's driving 4-5 days a week! I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about the Clubsport V2 Pedals. I know that I personally wish I had a clutch pedal and stick-shift to use with my game, so if you're getting a Playseat, there really is no reason to skip the stick-shift. Hopefully, this thread will catch some more attention by people who own some of the "better" sim equipment out there. I'm sure they can tell you the pro's & con's of various components. Good luck! 👍
