Could you please post the skins with this file already attached?
Even after renaming, on my PC, it doesn't stay in .dds format...
Here you go. It includes some further adjustments to the DDS.

(sorry, edited and updated link to include a fix for the borked front & rear dealer plates on the original car)

These mods have always been super solid in the past, so wanted to share if you guys wanted to play with some NASCAR. It's super cool to see a thriving niche community

While Logan makes great Nascar mods, I would suggest grabbing the BTM SimSport Mustang instead, It's developed with help from IMSA and team's that actually race the car. It's absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. It will be free when it's completed so you can just wait for that.

Logan's isn't terrible or awful in anyway. Its decent but physics are not that realistic.

Now the 1992 TV graphics have been finalized. All drivers have their correct driver pictures and numbers. The championship mod is unchanged but now the whole package does the amazing ASR 1992 cars justice.

Video has timestamps. Look how amazing Spa rain looks with these cars. Sure there are no rain physics but the looks... can't believe this is a 10+ year old game!!!!

I still use CSP 0.1.79 and SOL on my gaming machine. Sometimes I switch to CSP 0.2.6-preview1 but I think the rain looks better on 0.1.79.

I haven't done any other graphics settings.

I think it's just the championship file settings

sol_01_clear
sol_00_no_clouds

that look very good and bright. I use them on most tracks.

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to create a 1995 DTM Championship using the F302 cars (alfa, mercedes and Opel) and it's too hard for me make a BoP os these three cars

First round is the ASR 1992 versión os Hockemheim and the Alfa is nearly 10" slower than the others two cars, so start to use a versión "evo" of the Alfa that I found, but now the Alfa is 5" faster... Try to put 100 of ballast and 20 of restrictor but the lap time only increased in ONE second... Anyone can help me with that?

Both the Calibra and the Merc are much faster, in fact.
Thanks for reminding these 3 need a bop setting, probably I'll put it here in few days max.

Another thing that really needs tweaking on this car is the visibility of the union jack detailing on the rear lights when lights are off and brakes are inactive.
At the moment they just look solid red, but the union jack should always be faintly visible like this:

Just select the rear light detail in CM showroom as per this image and edit ksAmbient to be 6.5 (yep, that high - the red lenses dull it right back out on the track):

... and it ends up looking like this, with the detailing nicely picked out now instead of just a flat dark red:

Further to the above, I've updated the main kn5 to include the infotainment and dealer plate updates without the need for them to be in the skin folder, plus I've updated the rear lights again to preserve the union jack detailing in direct sunlight (ksDiffuse on the cover lens was too high in the original car).
This necessitated the creation of new LODs to preserve the detailing and colour consistency of the rear lights at distance, and to also fix the brake light not displaying properly in LODs B & C, and also to fix disappearing cockpit details (mainly the seats) in LODs B & C, both of which were really noticeable when following other cars in spec races. The dealer plate is now also preserved intact in LODs B & C.
This download contains only the updated main kn5 and the three new LOD kn5s.

That faint buzzing you can hear is John Newton Cooper (OBE) furiously spinning in his grave, but here are some absolutely-not-OEM skins to add some entirely-not-OEM variety in Cooper GP spec races.
Feel free to be sick in your own mouth while flushing your eyes with distilled water. Nobody will judge you, but if you even think about downloading these abominations then you are definitely A Very Bad Person Indeed™.

Have you tried using Sylana's 1995 155 DTM? It should have similar performance. I also wanted to run a '95 DTM championship, but I'm having problems with the tracks; they either don't exist or they don't work well...
 
I said I'd be done with modding, but I had one last thing to do. I fixed the headlights on the 695 biposto. It's obviously not finished, but now it no longer has those stop lights that look like they came out of a PS1 title. Maybe they need some tweaking but I believe they're better than before.

Note: I changed the physics with the 500 Abarth Step 1 one, I think it's more appropriate as a placeholder. It also doesn't have sound. I use a soundmod and I don't think I can include it with the car.

You can do whatever you want with it :D

@shi can anything be done about the mountains, specifically the aliased 8-bit colour-banding halo along the top of them?
I tried a 1.4px Gaussian blur to all 16 textures, which did do the job but softened the whole mountain range too much.
Would one of your 3D mountain ranges work better instead?
Or, are there any Photoshop gurus watching who can offer a better fix than mine for the current textures?

You can try out this quickly created skin.
Just extract it into the tracks folder.

I just used 89 restrictor setting for the Mercedes and the Calibra.
I'll play with it more in the next hour but looks already nice.
I avoid ballast when I can so AI doesn't have further reasons to mess up.

Mind you, cars pits at random times so...
 
Hello to the entire community,I'm having a problem that I can't seem to find the source of, and I don't think I've changed anything in my files.
When I start a championship I created and abandon it during the first event, I'm not ranked last and I can't move on to the next event. So, I'm stuck on the first event of my various championships.
I've never encountered this problem before.What could I have inadvertently changed somewhere in Content Manager?
Is there something disruptive in the CSP (namely, I'm using the latest version 0.2.12 p1)?

you cant just slap this config on another car without editing it heavily. none of the materials or meshes would work without being renamed.
😁 Following this thread for a long time, so i knew that. I am renaming and adjusting a lot of things! I should have mentioned that in my post, not to confuse people who did not know. Thanks!

Maybe you abandoned it during practice or qualifying? You will not move to the next event if you don't abandon the actual race.
