That Alfa Romeo is vile

I have matte purple on my Acura HSC, I think thats the car, it looks pretty swish :)

Matte Dark Green + GT-R Spec V = GODZILLA :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

Matte Purple + Speed Six RM = MONSTER 💡

That's how I use my Matte Purple and Matte Dark Green. :sly:

Thanks all your guys, I will try matte purple on speed six RM with white wheels. Anyway, I still want to know how people out there use their paint chip coz i have tons of it.

interesting, what is the color of the rim?

Black of course, although id imagine a dark grey or even a gold would look good aswell. Im not into using colours on my rims, i've tried it on many cars but am yet to find a good example of where coloured rims look good.

Your paint jobs are excellent, I never seen matte green or matte purple look that beautiful before. your pics recall me someone had mentioned samba bus with these color before, never thought it will look this good. 👍 👍

Well, I used Matt Pink on a Lambo SV, and it looked good, so presuming the Matt purple will look good on a lambo. The matt green......try a Ford GT, it might look good with white stripes.

Ford GT in matte green with white stripes sound good to me:tup:, i will try it. Matte purple on SV doesn't look good in my eyes, it will be better in matte light purple (if it exist coz I don't have it yet).:)

I like the Matte colors on RM versions of cars. The Nissan Silvia RM looks nice in Matte Purple, and I threw my Matte Greens on the two Lotus Elise RM cars.

Matte purple looks awesome on either of the Camaro SS 2010s, since on the road car it retains the white stripes, and on the RM car it matches the gold decals very well :D

As for matte green, I have a Suzuki Cervo RS with the carbon kit and it gets so much attention, especially when I beat peoples' lap times :sly:

Can we please keep obnoxious color combinations out of this thread?

Thank you.

Matte green I don't know. It may well be impossible. Dark green would be better.

Matte purple, 350Z RS.

Both of them seem like they would work better on the body than on the wheels.

Also,

Batman has his Batmobile. The Joker has THIS!!!

Actually it`s a Midnight Purple used for the body paint job. But I guess Matte Purple also will be looking good. :D

This is horrible, and a prime example of what I'm talking about when I say a color combination is obnoxious. I've also seen Matte Green (how ironic) or some other lime green with orange rims and an unpainted CF hood :yuck:.

I do agree with you that matte colors look really good on RM cars...

Dragonthing
you have a very good choice(s) for matte purple, thumbs up... I have heard a lot about Suzuki cars, I will give them a try...

I am not so successful using those matte colors (purple and green)

I'm not entirely sure how this is possible. When used, the paint always ends up on a car or rims (whichever specified). Unless of course you never like the way the car or rims look once the chip is used, and then it's really just a matter of opinion. Sure, GT5 should display what the car looks like before the user actually uses the chip, but it doesn't, so do like the rest of us and quit the game before exiting GTAuto or save your game data to a flash drive prior to using the chip so that you can put the newly-painted car on the track and revert the save if you don't like it.

This goes to all posters asking what paint to use on which car: Everyone has an opinion, you should know this by now. Show a little initiative and/or creativity because what other people like may not be what you like and you'll just end up in the boat you're in now.
