ok i have just bought the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII GT-A '02 and i would like to know what is the difference between that and the regular lancer evo VII the only thing off the top of my head is the smaller wing and taillights and the quicker more smooth shifts (shifts sound differnt than anything i have ever heard)
Just some background info on the car please:sly: thank you:dopey:

It's not either of those, it's a memory disorder to check it in the search!
The only thing I can think of is that it looks better.
So you's are saying that the regular EVO VII can't have automatic?
I like that GT-A.

Only GT-A come automatic, the rest are all manual. 'A' refering to Auto.

*EDIT*

After I just double checked I read that with atleast the Evo IX, the GT-A is a smaller turbocharger aswell.

Mitsubishi
Powertrain

The GT grade uses the latest 4G63-type MIVEC intercooler-turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission to generate flat and wide torque with excellent response at all engine speeds. Producing maximum output of 280 PS (206 kW) / 6500 rpm and 40.0 kg-m (39.2 N-m) / 3000 rpm of torque, the engine gives Evolution Wagon performance that is unmatched in the station wagon category.

The GT-A powertrain mates the 4G63-type intercooler-turbocharged engine, with its smaller turbocharger giving outstanding low-end and mid-range torque and response, to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The power unit generates maximum output of 272 PS (200 kW) / 6500 rpm and 35.0 kg-m (343 N-m) / 3000 rpm of torque to deliver top ranking performance for an automatic model.

Whats the diff between the pontiac gto and the holden monaro?
as the holden monaro is more expensive and its the same car
dont say left hand drive or the grill...

The Pontiac GTO nameplate was revived for the 2004 model year, now as an American-market version of the Australian-built Holden Monaro. This version sold poorly due to bland styling and was cancelled after 2006.

The Pontiac GTO was relaunched in the United States in late 2003, based on the Holden Monaro's V platform. The fact that the new GTO is based on an entirely different vehicle (the "Old Goat" being a muscle car and the Holden Monaro being an Australian sports car) has provoked much criticism from muscle car enthusiasts, stating that redesigning the GTO from the ground up would be more nostalgic and would possibly bring better sales for the car. The revival was prompted by former GM chairman Bob Lutz, who drove a Holden Monaro while on a business trip in Australia. The GTO is produced in Australia, and is equipped with the Chevrolet Corvette's LS1 V8 engine with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic. The same model is sold in the United Kingdom as a Vauxhall and as a Chevrolet in the Middle East.

If that helps any

The GTO sold roughly 30-35% less than GM's initial predictions (which was also the maximum Holden could supply). The Monaro was originally made (in 2001) with just a prediction of 10,000 sales through its life span. Due to overseas interest it ended up selling around 50,000 cars (under different names), 5 times more than Holden originally expected. For Holden the car sold great but not so great compared to US initial predictions.

Production ended due to the car for being 5 years old (with a Omega platform dating back to 1997/8) and to make way for the all new Zeta platform, that Holden has just started now.

as the holden monaro is more expensive and its the same car

The reason the Monaro is more expensive is because in real life the Monaro is much more expensive than the GTO, Our prices are heavly inflated.
