What Is The FASTIST MPH/KMH you have gone!!!!!!!!

Pretty much nobody is gonna have screenshots cause we don't have all the equipment and software and stuff, so I'm just gonna tell you mine and you can believe it if you want :D I can get to like 185mph in my Escudo on the test course. But I don't really ever care about speeds, I care about handling more, which is why I usually use F1 cars instead of my Escudo

I did something around 285 ~ 290 in the Escudo, but speed isn't everything. If you want to go fast, get a flight sim. I'm all about handling and excelleration. My favorite car right now is the GT One. It drives like it's on rails, and comes out of corners like a rocket. It also does nice on the speed track, something in the high 270s, but it's not like I'd ever hit that in a real race.

Right on Bruva man! :D:lol: I actually haven't ever driven the GTOne in 3 :D What kind of modifications do you have on it? Everything or stock?

It comes pretty loaded, but GT3 has a turbo addon or engine tune up for the competition cars (depending if they're turbo or NA [naturally aspired]). With a fresh oil change it has roughly 1100 HP. I've got the GT One 'Road Car', I had the 'Race Car' but sold it before I realized there was a difference. The car is awsome, it drives like a dream. There are a few cars that out perform it, but I sit in amazement when I'm driving the GT One. It's so smooth and acurate.

To stay on topic with the thread ... I was running a Test Course race and my GT One was second fastest. The first place car pit so I was able to catch up and pass, so when it got back in front of me I gave it some room then drafted off its spoiled air on a strait and got it up to 275 under a racing tune, not a speed tune.

That makes me wonder what we could get an Escudo up to drafting off another Escudo (:

Sorry, no screen shots to prove it, but I have driven my Escudo:

2,623,854,852.6 Miles per Hour. Pretty sick isn't it. Oh yeah and BTW, I also managed to flip my Escudo into a rampage of sommersalts. That I do have a video of.

You can find it in the GT3 section of GTPlanet (Not the Forum) web site.

You can find it here!

http://gt3.gtplanet.net/video.htm

Oh yeah, on this video, it shows my speeds in excess of 1,000 miles per hour. :D

Ok Pako, that's cool and all, but he said without cheats :D

My bad. I thought I read the whole post and must have missed that.

It will be edited.

:D I know man! I got that bad mother slammed to the ground.

214, 748, 364, 7 KPM/H:confused:

without cheats but using Escudo whellie trick and the break out of the Seattle II track. The only bad thing is that the game froze. The wierd thing about this is that the odometer displays an enormus number like the speed. I know this isn't very much of a real top speed but I just thought i would put it down

Pulled 494kmh in a draft in a tuned Escudo at the Test Course.

For those who don't like multiples of ten, that would be 306mph

I was in a draft in the arcade race and was trying for 500kmh, but would have hit the Toyota GT1 I was drafting.

And, no, I don't have screenshot, for two reasons:
- I was trying to control a vehicle doing 40% of the speed of sound
- I don't have the technical means to provide a screenshot.

Deal with it.

Yeeah! But it is a damn fun little car. Talk about a momentum car....

Of course, one thing I would love to see in GT4 is a Formula Vee. Talk about underpowered race cars....

I've driven a Vee, that'd be great!

Actually given the complete lack of grip I'd suggest the grip/grunt equation's quite balanced.

Are you an SCCA racer as well? Yeah, they don't have a ton of grip, but they certainly are a momentum car, huh?

I've never driven one myself, but an IT-B 4 cyl Mustang taught me about momentum. After driving that little toy for a while, getting back in my 500+ hp Mustang is quite a trip. Want to go sideways? Simply depress the right foot. :D

Nah - brother used to work for a major tyre retailer and they had one on hand (and also a FFord which I also got to drive - now that's a proper race car) - also drove a couple of family sedans on slicks down at Phillip Island. This was like 10 years ago. I did a little carting when I was 18 but I've been a frustrated racer since - probably why I love racing games.

Hehe.... Well the Formula Ford is a great race car. The new Van Diemans especially - wonderful race cars. I wish I could own one of those as well as my Mustang...

Actually, a local car's been doing the business here - can't remember the make, Spectrum or Swift or something.

Can't remember what the FFord I drove was - I think it was an 85-86 VD. Bugger to shift, it was either in or it wasn't. I managed to get it away without stalling but took about 1500km off the life of the tyres and clutch with the burnout. Very adjustable mid-corner, as I recall.

Now I plod along in my Liberty/Legacy RX manual, waiting for some lunatic in a hotted-up V8 to take me on. I might not be quick in a straight line, but I'll sail around on the outside the moment they're not looking.

My car (Dodge Viper GTS) can go up to 421km ph.

It has 1088hp. I sold it because it was going TOO fast.( when I braked the car started slippig away.) So that's tha problemo I can't mail you an screenshot of him going
421km ph.
Now try to beat that!! Check my cool wallpaper of the Dodge Viper GTS.
