What is the LP 1?

So, this may sound rather noob'ish but I really can't seem to find any info on a car being referred to as the LP 1. Somebody in one on my previous threads offered to trade it for my Mark IV, but I can't make the trade if I don't know the car. The "LP" leads me to believe it's a Lamborghini, but I haven't seen it.

Anybody know who makes it? This way I can find a picture and see what he's talking about. I haven't gotten any reply back from him, so I'm left posting here. Even if he doesn't reply back about the trade I would still like to know what it is for future reference. I apologize for the short thread topic, but I'm really curious as to what it is. Thanks!

Are you sure it's not the SP-1? That would be a re-bodied Ferrari 430, and not really worth that much if you don't like the look of it.

Hm. I did mention I was collecting Ferrari's and didn't have that one. I can't bring myself to buy it cause, well, it's hideous. He could have been talking about the SP 1, but "L" and "S" are on opposite sides of the keyboard. A very misleading typo? Anyone else?
