The new tracks are a great and needed addition.

Also so happy :) that Apricot Hill is back. That was one of my favorites and sorely missed in GT 5

My favorite thing is driving the R18 around Sarthe:)
Edit: More specifically, driving the R18 around the Porsche curves.

I wasted a lot of money at the beginning because I thought you still had to buy them in stages.
I did at first but i accidently purchased a stage 2 engine upgrade and it worked without the stage 1. Its a huge money saver and also being able to uninstall them to lower the PP is great, it stops from having to use the restrictor plate in some cases.

The tracks and variety in the seasonal events, where I've racked up quite a lot of miles. Also the menus are really good, especially the ability to upgrade a car fully in the tuning menu without paying a visit to the tuning shop.

Courses.
Physics feel deeper.
shorter list than my complaints, but 2 major upgrades.
I love the feel of the cars. I feel like the steering, throttle and brake control is I don't want to say easier but smoother.
I agree the courses are great.
Also the layout of the home screen. I like the start button options like car selection and car settings. Especially while in the tuning and customizing options. A time saver.

Throttle blips on downshifts, marvelous for heel toe magic.

That feeling to carefully shop for your next car, as credits are limited (for some, like me!)

Driving that highspeed track around Matterhorn, the nicest track since Outrun in the arcades back in the day.

The night races are now intruiging.

no longer feel the need to slap on racing slicks on the Nur.

racing on familiar tracks is a joy in GT6. Learning the new ones is ok too. PD should have just made the same game for all, by including the 15yr anniversary bonus to everyone. This selective approach, and pre-order nightmares must have really upset sincere people all over the globe.

The new physics are an absolute joy and the new tire squeal is fantastic as well. Now I find it much easier to drive cars close to the limit and sometimes even go beyond it, trail-braking, left-foot braking, ABS-less driving...it's all much better and immersive now. With GT5 the tire squeal was only there to indicate that you were already doomed and heading towards a wall but it's oh so much better now.

And Mount Panorama.

And yeah, the new physics. Sheesh...they're the right balance between fun and difficulty. The result? Immersion!
