and what is your average position?

Best: 85th - Suzuka Circuit with 2J
Average about 300th

Around top 5000, dont try it that much. I'd rather time trial against myself in practice mode. To compare the performance and handling of cars against each other.

As long as I get Gold, I'm satisfied. But when I ever make the list, even if it's only the first 24 hours, I'm super geeked.

27th TT #23 NASCAR @ Cape Ring Inside

86th TT# 41 Eiger Norwand Track G Trail......I have no idea where that one came from as it's not a true indication of my ability or inability

Respect, as American you know to handle a NASCAR 👍

That's just a stereotype... haha.

Really? Because I know 25 other people in that TT that are non-American that handled it better than me. As said before, that is just a bad stereo-type. Marcos Ambrose, among others, is just an example of how untrue your stereo-typing is in real life. Holds true in the game also. Thanks for the respect tho, appreciate it.

This. I normally only ever play till I get gold. At best, I get it within 1 second. Usually only takes me 30 minutes, if that. Latest rally time trial I managed to get gold on second attempt.

Only you could take an honest compliment and turn it into a bad thing. Great work Rat!

Look, just because you're pissed at me because you couldn't be bothered to send me a friend request for a ticket I was giving away, doesn't give you a right to take your shots at me. I did everything I could to get the ticket to you, but you wouldn't respond. And I know you were online both here and on PSN in between my 4 pm's to you so you can't use that excuse. I even sent you a f/r myself and that didn't even work. I'm not going to wait around forever. So, just lose the attitude with me, I don't appreciate it. Especially after I went above and beyond to try to communicate with you.

Furthermore, I didn't turn anything into a bad thing. I was just pointing out the obvious stereo-typing and I even went on to thank him for the compliment. So, like I said, lose the attitude and move on.

You think that's why I'm giving you 'attitude'?

I've been around these forums long enough to see how you really act toward other members :D

I actually came to the conclusion that you were giving away tickets just to gain favour with other members...

And I'm not so petty to complain about not getting a ticket. Doesn't bother me in the least quite frankly.

1625, on one of the latest ones, using a 2D :D

But, If I started filtering.... 900 W S, MT, ASM off, TCS off, ABS 1, Australia, Chaparral 2D... 20th

remove Australia, 390th
remove car, 458th
Pretty happy with that, start removing anything else and its speculation whether or not tcs or abs helped or just slowed you down.

Average, well, 49th thousand or something, but if that were a rolling average based on the last half dozen events, in my area, it'd be more like top 10000 for sure.

@HanibalII: Yes, you are coming at me with an attitude.

No, you have not been here long enough to know how I am.

No, I was not giving away tickets just to gain favors of other members. That is rediculous and the most silliest thing I have ever heard. I don't need to gain anyones "favor". I was simply giving away tickets in the spirit of the Holiday season and to pay back the community that has been generous to me in the past.

Lastly, if you are not so petty to complain about not getting the ticket, then why the 2 or 3 rude messages complaining about it.

You really need to get your facts straight before posting my friend.

Best: 2nd on TT #50 400PP @ Suzuka East Course.

One day... I will finally get that 1st place. I just don't know when.

Oh I beg you! Please post these 'Rude' messages I sent you. Please! I could do with a great laugh!
I sent you one message initially, when I posted in your thread, then another about 16 days later explaining why I hadn't been on.

And just to keep it a little bit more on topic.

My latest TT I got 1.09.** on the Rally one.

Way to hijack a thread. Take that nonsense to pm please.

13th TT12 Toscana

I suppose I generally average around 200-500 in TT when I put some laps in.

In the BIG stock TTs where everyone who is anyone gets involved, I would be happy with a place under 1000 and delighted with a top 500 position.

179th in the Nordschleife 2J TT, which was 12th or 13th amongst USA drivers IIRC.

40th - Suzuki GSX-R/4 @ Daytona road course

Generally I just run the time trials for the credits. But the current C7 at the Nurb and the GT Academy 370Z Tuned Car at the Nurb, I have tried to run competitively. The C7 one I'm doing because it's completely stock. I have no idea how to tune, and I don't want to make permanent modifications to my cars by using someone else's tune from here (as helpful as they are). I think another part of it is the course. I've logged a lot of laps around the Nurburgring and find it pretty enjoyable. Many others struggle with it because they simply don't know the course. I also try to avoid using the 2J and the Suzuki GSX-R/4 nowadays. It almost felt like I was cheating, so I stopped. But I won't blame people for taking advantage of the PP loophole that PD doesn't feel like fixing. Lately I've looked to other cars that may be more fun to take around the track in TT's.

With that said, the time trial at the Nurburgring in the GT Academy 370Z tuned I placed 135th, which is my current best. That was a partially tuned car. Again, I didn't want to fully tune it as I wouldn't have been able to reverse some of the modifications. I was hoping to run well in the current C7 TT, but I've just slipped outside the top 200 at 201. I haven't run it in a few days, so I may give it another couple tries throughout the coming week to improve my time and get back into the top 200. My aim is the top 150. :dopey:

I looked it up, chamoix drift trial 267th place using a buick special. 24th if I filter it to U.S. only.

8th on one of the snow drift trials using a buick special, that was in the first two hours, I think I was down to 300th a couple days later.

Go back and read the thread title again. It says best finish, not what you did in the first few hours of the event.

I am a credit whore. My best is beating the gold time in one lap. :dopey:

I think the best place I have finished a time trial was the GSX-R in the Kart Space time trial. I was less than 1000 in the rankings when it finished.

I only have tried the current Corvette time trial once and missed silver by less than a second. It was a very cautious lap to get one on the board. But I might get the time to try again another day.
