What is your biggest reason for wanting GT6?

That is how you feel, being in a bad light ? I haven't even mention names yet, but I'd rather not. In my list that I made, every time I encounter a similar content of post from same person, I took note of it, regardless if the post was positive or negative. It's fun research. Let me make it simple, I make notes of most active people in GT6 threads who often posts in discussion, regardless of the content is optimistic, pessimistic, negative thoughts, being defensive, complaints, criticism, or just plain troll.
Watch out, we have some serious Sherlock Holmes in here.

Who do you work for? Confess! :sly:

That actually does sound like fun research, I might do something similar later on. Although, probably after I do my other nonsense stuff.

I am certain of new cars, physics and tracks and hopeful that improvements in the online gameplay lead to a better gaming experience. Anything else will be a pleasant surprise.

Too funny, so I am not allowed to make observation and stated my findings because some people think I lied, call me a liar all day, I doesn't matter to me. Those 2 names were mentioned, because I just made a new list, I won't mention names from my previous notes, that's what I meant, as mentioning it will cause a lot of trouble for everyone. Look what we have now  From these notes, I can better understand more of the members here, their posting style, their way of thinking, like your last post, that's one of your traits :p Stay cool.

You need to have some time off the keyboard I think.

Biggest single reason is probably the new tracks.

Looking forward to the new physics model, course creator and new cars as well -- hopefully there's still 100 or more left to see.

Because it's Gran Turismo. Never met one that hasn't been fun and well worth the purchase. After 15 years, hundreds of dollars spent, and thousands of hours, why stop now?

I work for the CIA :sly: Seriously, I just got bored reading various threads with same mood and generally similar group of people arguing the same thing over and over in the past year. I got curious, why is this happening ? Why do some took different stance about GT ? When I took notes, making lists, I can better understand some of the members here, albeit only a little :) While doing this, I also found some new things from them, like their posting style and their personal preferences in GT.

I can't get off from the keyboard, I work using keyboard :)

I thought you worked for the great nation of Kazunorikhestan :scared:

By the time GT6 is released, I will have enjoyed FM5 and Drive Club for a couple of weeks. Not sure exactly how much of GT6 I will play, the biggest draw for me is the course maker. I'm hoping that we can create tracks that are more real life than having huge changes of elevation and having more detail, with no pop up and screen tearing.

Do I really have to explain why?

It is technically possible to claim yourself as a source.

EDIT: Is your name supposed to be german? If yes, it's wrong.
It just caught my eye, sorry.

I really don't see how it's possible to claim yourself as a source, it's the equivalent of "because I said so". It just lacks any real validity.

As for my name, I have no idea what it means and I'm not surprised it's wrong - I used a random word generator. What does it (kind of) mean in German?

You should try to adress the valid arguments people is bringing on the table instead of complaining about the complainers.
Just out of curiosity, do you consider those who insist that nothing has changed or improved through the life of the series, or that all the cars sound like garbage disposals are valid arguments?

Do you think people prejudging a game by forming criticism as if the game has been released are making valid arguments?

Do you think that members who spend the majority of their time here criticizing posts of others are contributing to the discussion?

Do you find pessimism to be more valid or more valuable than optimism?

Mach schnell! (2 l instead of 1)

Get a move on / Hurry up / Make it quick / Buck up / etc

:)

Any improvement = Best GT ever? We will stop complaining one day. Not because PD fixed the problems with the games but because we will have lost all interest in the GT series.

I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to someone who enjoy searching what forum users post. Since he has the time to do that maybe he can also have the time to adress those arguments.

When and if I go back discussing the same stuff all over again with you I'll bring an argument to the table not some generic "fanboy/hater pessimism/optimism". But that's too silly to discuss NOW, let's wait GT6.

Do you actually not know what a discussion is? Because someone who criticizes obviously wrong information is a lot more valuable to a discussion than someone who, say, claims that GT6 will obviously be the best game in the series then dodges every question that comes up in response because he's apparently "not really concerned with what you guys think or feel."

I don't know which is more valid but I do think we should get this thread back on the original topic :ouch:

It's kinda tiring to have to deal with this on every GT6 thread I visit that's about a certain topic related to the game, that then quickly devolves into a verbal slap-fight between the "Optimists" and the "Pessimists" :ouch:

I'm a bit tired of it too, I'm getting a headache from this "Optimists vs Pessimists" nonsense.

Then GTP probably isn't the place for you, because they accept all opinions regarding the game, so long as they don't violate the AUP.
