I usually like 4wd better for races, but for fun and drifting, a FR setup right is better. With that in mind, my fav FR is the Trueno...and my fav 4wd are the Lancers. Best rallyers too. Midfield is pretty good, and drifting on a track before regular racing is a good way to learn the turns and things, but I find Apricot Hill to be tons of fun...specificly the 2nd section of turns...theres that one S that really makes the car swing wide...makes for some very cool replays, and its fun to let the back end fly out so far.

if i had to use a 4wd car id use the lancer VI TME or skyline GT-R Vspec II (R34)

My fav MR (thats not F1) has got to be the NSXs. Theres just somthing about them that seems so cool. The GT40 hass been a favorite of mine for a while, but its not as cool. But the Elise and the Speedster are nice little MRs that can be fun to drive around in...
