I'm going to do 3 polls, the first will be a broad 0-1000 then the second will narrow the winning pp into 10s, the last into 1s.
What in the bloody world is the point of this thread? I'll race at whatever PP I need to, whatever PP is required at that time, I don't have any favorites because ideally I wouldn't race to a PP scale at all.
Cool. Also, though I couldn't find it in my search, I'm almost positive I've seen a nearly identical thread before..
Almost all of my road cars are set up for either 450 or 540; a lot of them with alternate tunes that can cover somewhere in between. It's by far my preferred driving "class;" especially the former, which by nature of being relatively low has a lot more variety in it.
There are many, many ways that this could be responded to; but rather than being creative I'll just say that if you think there's no point to the thread, there's certainly no point in you posting in it just to point that out. It's great that you simply don't care what PP a race is set up for, but not everyone wants to race 200PP cars or X1s.
Cool.
Not a single one of these details were present in your original post. So forgive me that I missed your point when you never bothered making it in the first place. You obviously missed my point.
I don't like racing at set PP levels because PP is so flawed and I see no point in even having it when only certain cars are truly competitive at each level.
There needs to be far more refinement to the system before its anything I want to spend a bunch of my time on. Especially when PD decides to just randomly change PP levels for half the cars, and then reverts to the previous system.
A certain Xbox game does FAR more to calculate all the variables (barring adjustable aero) and even it is nowhere near perfect.
All I'm saying is:
A) I don't like racing at PP levels with how flawed they can be.
B) I don't like the OP's idea of having a "bracket elimination" system as far as the poll goes, which is what he says is largely the point of this thread and the poll. Therefore I don't see the point of the thread.
Could be because you're the only one who went out of your way to say that the OP was pointless. It could be because there is only one other post (as opposed to "quite a few others") criticizing the thread (Simon's), and it actually laid out exactly why the criticism was being given (that the runoff poll idea was bad). It could even be because you still believe everyone is actively against you despite directly calling attention to yourself with needlessly confrontational posts.I'm aware that my post wasn't necessary but then neither are quite a few others in this thread which makes me question why you seem to target me in particular.
Well then let's take a little read shall we?Not a single of these details were present in your original post. So forgive me that I missed your point when you never bothered making it in the first place.
I read the OP. All I saw was info about how he wanted to make this thread about an elimination poll system, hence why I didn't see the point. Perhaps I should've elaborated? What in the bloody world is the point of this thread?
I'll race at whatever PP I have toI'll race at whatever PP I need to, whatever PP is required at that time,
because the PP system is flawed and I think racing with it is pointless and as such I'd rather not race to its scale at all and simply race with my friends in whatever cars we find are actually really competitive to each other.I don't have any favorites because ideally I wouldn't race to a PP scale at all.
Um, if I were choosing 2/3/4/500 etc there are two options. Poll fail.
