I searched the forum and I didn't find any topics about this so I thought I'll start one... So, what is your favourite racecar and why... I don't want to hear about the Red Bull X2010 as that is just imaginery car and doesn't race anywhere around the world...

My favourite racecar: Weds Sport IS350 GT300

I like the colours and it's preety fast considering it has only 300HP...
 
Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza '08. It looks pretty damn nice, it's based on a STi (which is a plus in my book), it's all wheel drive which is awesome because that's unusual for a non-rally race car. It corners like a champ and eats cars with much more power like it's nobody's business.

Handling > power, so: GT300 ftw!
 
My favourite is the Alfa DTM touring car - just such an excellent drive.
 
Toyota GT one '99 It's my favorite car since GT2 and I love it so much best LM prototype for me :)
McLaren F1 GTR why?? Because McLaren F1 is best car ever mede ( am disappointed because F1 LM is not in game)...
 
Don't laugh, but my favorite racecar is the Integra with RM from the Dealership. It handles like a knife and has no handling flaws whatsoever, especially after my friend (Chassis Engineer at GM) made a special setup for Nordschleife... it's just not THAT fast ;)
 
787B race car and NOMAD diablo.Both,to these hands,are perfect in balance,stability and response and have plenty of power and downforce

At the moment my favourite has to be the Arta Garaiya it just eats corners.:D
 
The Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza '08. It required no tuning to be a great car to drive. It does everything well. With a little tuning, she is an absolute beast.
 
In the first GT's I used to be a BIG fan of the TOM's Castrol Supra. I have it in my garage, but haven't tried it yet. If it's anything like it used to be; That's the one I'll go for.
 
No question, both Mercedes CLKs (touring and race car).
Both have incredible grips, even without any assists, you can "attack" on many trcaks such as nurb or trial montain. I've won many online races with each of them!

That is true... but I conducted a little test between the Cusco Dunlop Subaru '08 and the Weds Sport IS350 '08 (Lexus) on the Top Gear Test Track. Both cars with Racing Softs and All aids off except ABS-1...

I put in some very good laps with both cars and realised that it was easier to put quick laps in the subaru due to the traction (AWD) whereas Lexus was much more lively on the exit of the corner... after around 10 laps I had preety nice results...

The Lexus is harder to handle but is much more precise when entering the corner as the Subaru has a slight oversteer due to 4WD...
 
F2007 and Peugeot 908. Great, good looking cars.
 
Either of these...The FTO was my favorite back in GT2 and I'm a Mitsubishi fan:tup: The GT itself is a highly underrated 600 hp/car that eats track and when you paint it Matte Black it looks like the friggin Batmobile!

My fav car is the lancia stratos because its fast,easy to control and a beutiful car
 
I love the 787B. The engine sound isn't the greatest.., but wow what a killer race car. It is a blast to run Monza in light rain with this vehicle.
 
Sauber Mercedes C9, Nissan R92CP, 787b, F10, F2007, Peugeot 908 to name a few.
 
Elise 114 rm and CLK touring. Most enjoyable cars to take round the 'Ring

I can drive it around Daytona Speedway faster than my RM ZR1
 
Choosing one is tough, here's 3: Lotus 111R RM, Citroen race car, Corvette ZR-1 RM. I have a ton of fun in any of 'em.

At this moment I choose for the ... peugeot 908 because of the looks, but the raybrig NSX is close second. both handles great!
 
Suzuki Escudo. I haven't got it myself but I drove it round a friend's house, pretty awesome.
 
Count me also as an Impreza lover when it comes to race cars.
My personal favorite would be Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car.

Best handling of all cars in the same power level. Insane acceleration and grip. Top speed isn't mind blowing but it takes it all back in corners. Found from the UCD with about 500k price tag.

A Spoon Civic that has less then 300 HP. It is a killer and destroys 390 HP civics.

Edit : It is not really a race car, but the Race car I like most has to be the Ford GT Race Test car Spec II.
 
Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car

It just seems to handle really well for me, so smooth.
 
My favorite is the FGT. I now have 6 of them, 4 solid blue, one white and green, and I just bought a green and yellow FGT. Looks like camoflauge 👍

I love this car because it was the first car I bought and tuned that handled exactly like I wanted it too. The reason I have so many is that I intend to collect them everytime they are available in the ocd or the ucd 👍 .

My favorite car to drive though is the F2007 I traded for last week. As good as I have my FGT cars setup, the Ferrari F1 cars are simply amazing to drive. You can tell that PD spent a lot of time on them for the game. It's a shame that we cannot use them in unrestricted races.

The RM Lotus, fast, nimble and a lot of fun.
