SmokeAlot,

What kind of smokes do you smoke? One or twice a year I make my way up to Canada (just north from here) and I always buy atleast one pack of Canadian smokes. I have to say, they are heavy duty cigs! Much more potent than US cigs. The canadian Ultra Lights are like US's Marlboro Reds (which are pretty harsh). I also have to say that your beer is absolutely the best. You certainly have to be carefull drinking that stuff.

Are you serious? I find it the other way around! :)

I smoke duMaurier extra light king-size.. but I do have the odd pack of Camel/Malboro from this store down the street who imports 'em :)
And yea, the beer *rules* :D

You wonna hear a funny story about my experience drinking your beer?

We went up to Edmonton to catch a Johnny Winter show at the R&B Club. We ordered a pitcher of beer which was delivered with some small little juice cups.

The beer was called "Canadian" if I remember correctly. Anyways, I proceeded consuming from my juice cup. I'm not a normally a heavey drinker of beer, but I figured that these cups were small enough that I really didn't have much to worry about. After consuming about five of the juice cups of Canadian beer, I stood up to take a pee.

That was when I first noticed something different about this beer. I managed to wade my way through the crowd and back to the bathroom. Standing in front of the urenal, supporting my weight with one hand on the wall with the other hand directing my attention to the task at hand, I noticed the wall and textures to be moving in a almost liquid state. Some say I was having a flash back or someone spiked my beer, or simply that I had been smoking some of that Canadian bud, rest asured this was not the case.

It was the weirdest psycadelic beer buzz I had ever had, and with such a little about consumed. :D The locals say it's all in the hopps and waiting until you get the "blue flame" before the batch of brewing is done. What ever that means....

Anyhow, that's my experience with Canadian beer. :)

Don't think I've ever heard of something having that psychadelic experience with our beer before. Good story man :)
I can't stand Molson Canadian myself though. I prefer Labatt Blue, or Black Ice. You gotta try those next time you come up. (Black Ice has more alcohol in it than the average beer) ;)

Juice cups though.. hahaha that is good :D
Wonder if that particular bar did that on purpose to *get* you americans :smilewink

 I don't know man. The pitcher was pretty good size though, I just thought it was a Canadian thing.. :)

Do you think that the tolerence level for locals in Canada is much higher than for Americans?

Not sure about that one. The average american "drinker" I know, drinks much more than the average canadian drinker. But I think our beer has more alcohol in it, which may make up for the difference. I'm not 100% sure though :)

Gotta try some german beer though man
