Hi, im new to FM4 and im thinking of getting a racing wheel for it. I don't know which one to get so i need some help here. I don't want anything extremely expensive or cheap and crappy OR wireless (i herd they weren't good) so whats my best choice?

What's your budget? A Fanatec CSR or GT2 will cost around $250 without pedals. I have no experience with the MadCatz or MS wireless speed wheel, so I can't give you any input about those. I have a GT2 with Clubsport pedals and am very satisfied with them, but you may not want to spend that much.

For the Xbox 360 a good entry level wheel is the MS Racing Wheel, it has force feedback and 270 degree steering. I owned one for 3 years before upgrading to a Fanatec and it never gave me a problem.

The only thing I would recommend with the MS wheel is to possibly invest in 2 stiffer springs for the gas and brake, the normal ones have very little resistance, but that can be fixed with a little creativity.

As far as I can recall the only place to find them now is probably on eBay, I would they would sell for around $70 online as they were $100 brand new, as Microsoft no longer produces them. I hope this helps.

Don't believe everything you hear and the only choice is Fanatec for the 360.

MS wheel- THE WORST AC powered wheel ever made
Madcatz wheel- See above

That leaves the Fanatecs which are awesome.

I have a cheapy wheel and pedals I got with F3 that "works", but is nothing compared to the Wheel I got for GT5. That thing was both cheap AND stellar in performance. My son has the next wheel up in the cheap seats, which he also got for F3, it's junk and doesn't even work now.

The DFGT(?-the red ring one) wheel was a stroke of genius that Forza and MS both missed the boat on. The way it works, how it's supported in game...

I haven't found anything for this side of the world with similar bang for the buck. I am looking still, but I don't have the ability to spend the kind of cash needed for a good wheel/pedal set for Forza land, at least not yet.

I can tell you that so far it's been my experience that anything with that label with the mad cat on it is best left in the package at the store. Sad to say, but I haven't had decent luck, performance or satisfaction from anything I have ever had with their name on it... But they seem to be one of the few lower priced alternatives available.

I have a Microsoft Wireless racing wheel and pedals, cables, just plug and play. Only $75,(plus $20 shipping..US only) You can't go wrong. I own three of them and have the CSR Elite on pre order. They are good wheels. For some reason a lot of people bash them. They have come way down in price, probably because of all the new wheels that have come out this year. Here is the link for a full description. I had to give $185 plus shipping for it a year ago! I have been using a Fanatec GT2 since late July this year. You will NOT be dissapointed. Its a "fast" wheel and a lot of fun.Look for the post by "Zebrawire" If you don't think it's worth $75, I give you $20 to cover the cost of shipping it back. You can try it out for 10 days.
