What PS One game will you never give up...?

i never bought GT2 or 1 but i do own about 20 or so ps1 games from before the PS2 was launched and i have some favoutires that i will never give up...

1. Silent Hill
2. Resi Evil 2
3. Soul Reaver
4. Rally Championship

if you had to get rid of your PS1 games...which ones would you just have to keep?
 
The Tony Hawk 2 demo that came w/ the july 2000 issue of official u.s. playstation magazine :D good lord, the real game wasnt even as fun at that demo. i dont know how many hours me and my friends spent playing that thing trying get the highest score possible

oh, and gt1 and gt2 of course, duh
 
Warhawk, one of the best games I've ever played. It was a acrade style flight game that really helped break ground on PSone with superb game mechanics. It also has one of the best soundtracks ever to grace a video game, you can even play the disc in your CD player and listen to the symphonic style music.:)

The Colony Wars series is also very well done, though Midway's third instalment was not as polished as the origional creator's, Psygnosis, had done in the first two.
 
Tony Hawk 1(i remember playing the demo for hours with my friends just trying to get more than 1000 points. Then i thought of something and i was unbeatable. I managed to get 120,000 points in the first room that you start out at(grind, kickflip, grind, kick flip, grind, kick flip, grind, kickflip, grind, kickflip,grind, some grab while spinning. should give you about a 14 times whatever the score was ))

I would have to say there are a couple.

First would be the gt series games... they always have some replay value. (*although that is quickly fading with gt3 being so good and gt4 on the way)

Then there are the less important titles, but still fun to play...

einhander
metal gear solid
tekken 3

There are also others, but off the top of my head I can't remember them.
 
Warhawk would be amazing on one of the new consoles. If the same effort was put into a sequel as the first one, it would be a masterpeice.

To bad Singletrac has been essentially dead for years and Psygnois for that matter. All these dedicated developers just get bought out by the big crappy developers.

Wow, I thought I was the only person who knew about that game. I wish I still had that, or they made a new version on the PS2. I loved using the two handed craft and picking up two huge cannons and blasting the living crap out of everything. Awesome final boss as well. edit: forget that all the bosses were awesome.
 
I have einhander also. It's pretty fun but I am sad to say I never beat it. I've had it for forever but I still never beat it. I'm one of those people that in those huge levels with huge amounts of enemies and you die about 50 times before you win I just get pissed off and throw the controller by about try 37.
 
They are re-releasing Final Fantasy 7 for the PS2, and it is going to come with, an hour long DVD (CG Animation), that is a sequel to the story. I can't wait until it comes out, I'm so excited already.

Einhander definitely needs a sequel. Square seems too busy making sequels to FF games... :rolleyes: Warhawk was the first PSX game I played, it deserves a sequel as well. Another game that I think should get a sequel is G-Police. I prefer that over Colony Wars. Sony said that a sequel was coming, but that was a while ago. :(

Haha I have a few demodisks too, I remember playing the Ace Combat 2 demo to death before I had it, mind you it had an early FF7 video as well. I still even have the GT2 demodisk, now that got played allot making me very good at rome.

I'd just settle for having the first Einhander back, did it actually get a US release?

Oh and G-Police was an awesome game, it even had a decent enough story. There was a second G-Police game but it wasn't that good. Oh and colony wars gave me a headache.

Heh - I got that for the PC and drag it out occasionally - nothing like a vomit epidemic to clear the building!
 
What is the name of the Fighting Game, that had most of the Final Fantasy 7 Characters in it, and it had a bunch of mini-games, plus an RPG built into it. I love that game, but I can't remember the name of it, and I want to buy it again. Someone stole it from me.
