And Rahal Letterman ALMS GT2 because the bimmer looks so nice to drive! Looked really good at Lime Rock and also at Spa 24h..

I'm so happy to see Michael Schumacher getting exposed this year in F1. Glad to see his legacy get tarnished even further.

But on point. I see Rosberg has 0 wins, 0 poles, and 2 fast laps. Oh well he is just starting his career.

Yes, Mercedes GP only has 2 drivers while Hendrick has 4. But lets just compare two of Hendrick's most successful drivers, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson vs Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg

I just wanted to say that playing around with stats wont tell the whole story.

How many races does a whole NASCAR season have? F1 only 16-19 during Schumis time. IIRC Jeff Gordon and Co. have to compete in alot more races in a year.

Right now the best driver lineup in the F1 isn`t Schumacher/Rosberg or Alonso/Massa, its Button/Hamilton - these guys are doing a amazing job. Vettel/Webber is underperforming, just like the whole Red Bull team ( Come on, with this car, they could have won every race this season)




Oh, I still think that the most established, famous, richest, biggest and popular racing team in the world is the Scuderia Ferrari and not Hendrick Motorsports.

But this thread should not turn into a F1 vs NASCAR, Xxx vs Yyy flamewar. Lets aggree that there are a lot great teams with great drivers who deserve to get spotlight in GT5 ;)

Btw: Im not a NASCAR hater, actually its right now one of the less features in GT5 Im excited about (Damn, Daytona was so amazing with the tuned Vette in GT5P, just imagine the same with Jeff Gordons car 👍 ). Those standard/premium thing was a huge turn off :grumpy:

Edit: Im not a Schumi fan too... His move against Barrichello last weekend was one of the dirtiest and most dangerous things I have ever seen on a race track...

Yeah I'm not interested in starting F1 vs NASCAR or anything like that, just comparing the teams.

Yes, Schumacher only had 16-19 races per season, Jeff Gordon has done about 28-36 races per season in his career, about twice as much.

I had a big long post typed up, but to prevent appearing to try and bash F1 or start a flame war I've deleted it.

I'll just say a NASCAR race is a different animal then a F1 race, twice as long, caution flags that constantly bunch the field up, four times the pit stops, way more opportunity for things to go wrong.

Jeff Gordon has lost 5 races this season alone when he had the fastest car due to bad pit strategy or other things.

Renault F1 circa 1977, Alpine-Renault circa 1978, Ligier, Prost, Matra. Pescarolo, Team Peugeot Total, Peugeot Talbot Sport, Renault World Rally (in a 5 Maxi Turbo), there's a theme there.

And not to forget some of the greatest ones: Porsche KG Salzburg, Sunoco Porsche Can-AM team, JWA-Gulf, Rothmans Porsche.

Well the Sunoco Porsche in the Can-Am raced by Mark Donohue was run by Penske, I just called it that as most people know it easier by that description.
