Greetings,
I am in a sort of quandary as to which receiver I should go with. I have just about made my mind up on the Yamaha RX-V2400. With shipping, I can get it just under $800.00. I would want to spend anymore than that. So my budget is $800.00. Some features I am looking for are:
*7.1 compatible
*All Dolby digital and DTS modes.
*THX Certified is optional
*100w per channel minimum
*component input and output
*up-conversion from the composite and s-video inputs to the component output
*5.1 analog inputs
*Minimum of 4 s-video/audio inputs
*Minimum of 4 digital TOS Link and 1 coaxial AC3 digital inputs
Those are the basic feature sets I'm looking into. Also, having individual bass management on each speaker channel would be nice, as well as separate EQ adjustments available for each speaker would be helpful for sonically matching my unmatched speakers.
Any and all suggestions would be most helpful!
