What Shift2 needs for dlc

Rant thread is stickied at top.

Obviously you have not played S2 for very long anyway.

~80% completition should be sufficient - yet, I really think that should be their next DLC. EA style, selling the solution to their problem.

But yeah, Arosa is right. The physics are being ruined by the input lag since it's making them look dodgy as well. Such a great game ruined by such a simple issue.

I take it you dont understand what the rants thread is for, take your whinging there. If you actually want a discussion then feel free to stay on topic

Unfortunately DLC for Shift 2 is done and over with. They don't ever really make new content anyway, they just cut parts out of the game and hold them back for a month or two then hammer you for 10 bucks to get it back.

Its kinda lame that EA abandons games so quickly for the next version. "The Run" is coming out in Nov, then I'm sure they will announce Hot Pursuit 2 or Shift 3 or something for March.

Well what shift 2 for the PS3 really needs is another patch to solve alot of bugs... in other words what it needs is to be finished...

I've been following the topic and said that bugfixes might be offered as DLC. :P

shift 2 needs (aside from a fix to the steering issues) more realistic events.
series with qualification and racing, 10-20 laps races, and some nice between races features.

Just going from pointless event to pointless event to race a few laps around diffrent tracks is just so....boring.

It could also do with some more 'cheat controls'....as in stopping people just driving straight across the grass from one side of Donington to the other, and at Silverstone etc etc.

ALSO...some sort of penalty (ie kicked off track) if your car is not going in a consistently forward direction for a minimum percentage of the track, to get rid of the idiots spinning round in circles while they wait for someone to drive into. :irked:

Apart from the input lag on the PS3... (which should be an update, not paid DLC).

Having just downloaded Legends, and loving it, how about a Legends 2 taking it back a decade to the '50s?

Old Ferraris, D-type Jags, Alfa Guiliettas etc etc. First priority for tracks would be the original configuration of Spa, and the combined oval/road version of Monza.
