Dont know but has to be affordable and not crazy like a Veyron.
MedigoFlameThread seems a bit vague to me, is this supposed to be a general idea of what are good first cars for people? Or a suggestion thread for 19988pasha...? Would be nice if the OP wasn't that vague...along with the title.
Bopop4A truck.
They are the cheapest on insurance and you can get one for cheap too.
A beaten Ford Ranger is what I'm probably going to get, reliable and inexpensive.
Edit: Several months? Wow, he actually got a lot of use out of it. I was thinking more along the lines of several weeks, or days...
astrosdude91A Ferrari F50 would be a great first car! It's not crazy like a Veyron.

Yes but for anyone who interested in a pleasant driving experience they are just awful. Bad steering, vague breaks, and the possibility of rolling kill any fun, unless off roading is your thing. Id say a smaller car with around 200 hp is plenty of sport for anyone like a used BMW 3 series.
I'm really surprised that guy got several months out of that corvette, there are PLENTY of grown men that don't last nearly that long with that much power.
F50's are a bargain, because nobody liked them! You can probably pick one up for $250,000. Perfect car for beginners that fits the budget! But its EXPENSIVEEEEA Ferrari F50 would be a great first car! It's not crazy like a Veyron.
KentI'd say you're first car should be something like a fully tuned '98 turbo supra running something in the neighborhood of 400 whp.
That's totally reasonable for getting an idea of how to handle your responsibilities and obligations as a daily driver.
If not that, I'd say something with AWD so you can harness that power... Yeah, a highly tuned Mitsu Evo is perfect for the youngster.
If you can't afford that, the honda civic makes for a great DD.
Whatever you do, don't buy a Subaru.
Good luck and ty for considering my advice.![]()

Thread titlefirst car
A little on the pricey side but if the driver knows how to handle a car they should definitely look into a Nissan 300ZX.

Their mom's or dad's old car.
