Other than drink and/or go to a casino. I thought about renting a Mustang GT-H... any other suggestions? It doesn't necessarily have to be today, for example... interested to see what kind of ideas are generated. :)

Depends what kind of friends you have... If they really are worthy of being your friends then go do a safe social activity. If they are the usual crowd who aren't really your friends, then go rent a nice car and maybe ask a girl to enjoy a ride in the "rental" (because you're not going to be able to play it as if you own it and make something work out with her ;) ).

Good luck, have fun, be safe. 👍

If you're in Manhattan what's the point of renting the GT-H, to look fancy sitting in traffic? Or are you planning on taking it east to the Wantagh Parkway? :)

GIT CRUNKED!

Seriously. Rent the Shelby and beat the living snot out of it on the Parkway.

I hate to tell you this, but If you rent the Shelby, you'll have to take someone along that is over 25 to rent the vehicle for you. And Hertz will likely not but you on the contract as the driver due to your age.

My 22 year old can't rent a car, though the High-school he TEACHES as sends him off with the district's Ford Excursion on a pretty regular basis.

Since my Birthday is coming down in one month and four days, I can relate. Alas, my birthday lands on a Tuesday this year, sadly after Thanksgiving for the first time I can recall in a while, so my celebration will be limited at first.

I think the first thing I'll do is go out and buy a Heineken Draught Keg and probably a bottle of Southern Comfort and enjoy myself a bit, but with school the next day, not too much. I'll save the partying for the weekend... Probably at the Irish Pub downtown, or I may have to make a trip to see friends in Kalamazoo.

Holy crap, and here I thought you had died or something mrktmkr

Geez.

Anyhow, I think around here it is typical to get wasted to some degree or another. Renting a car would be rather tricky still at 21, but if so, rent some FR car and just do donuts and crap. Practice your movie stunts and mad leet drift skills.

My parents beat me to it!!!! They knew I wanted to rent the GT-H... but they didn't want to let me in on their plans. So my dad said he needed me to take him to Hertz to pick up a "truck" that he needed. So we go down to Manhattan (strictly speaking we live in Westchester, on the border of the Bronx), he tells me to wait in the car, and he comes out with a Shelby GT-H convertible and throws me the keys! :D It's mine for the day! Pics to follow...

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!

Yeah, I've been absent for a while... lots going on. And thanks, I might just try that!

My mate hired an M3 for his 21st birthday. It was awesome!!

Cool deal!

Nice, nice...

This is true... so, I'm definitely going to take it "easy"... sort of...:dopey:

That's funny.:boggled:

Track day.

Probably won't be able to get to one since I have the car for 1 day. Still, merging (highway) should be quite entertaining.

The thought has crossed my mind... but there's a lot of cops around my area (I-87, Sprain, Saw Mill, I-95) so I don't want to take the chance... I think...:dopey:

I'm in Westchester... I've never been to that highway, in fact, I rarely (if ever) go out to Long Island. I might look into it though... I've seen pics of road. Nothing wrong with looking good in traffic though! :)

LOL! Thanks!

Yes, renting a GT-H sounds like a good idea, better than a casino IMO Just dont drink and drive, keep it safe

Absolutely! 👍

^ err... I think he should have been able to do that by now?... :odd:

Well, I guess we all have different accomplishments in life.

Hey buddy, you live in Westchester? why don't you come down here with your Mustang to Long Beach (Long Island) where all the good clubs are at. Long Island isn't that exciting after all, *cough*better than Rochelle Park, NJ though*cough* but Long Beach is about the nicest place here to hang out.

MrktMkr!

You have indeed been missing for a while. Hope you enjoy(ed) your day with the Shelby.

(Er... And Happy Birthday!)

Brian!

Happy way too late birthday! So what did you do?

Awesome.... waiting for pics!

It's still not too late to jump out of a Airplane at 12,000 feet. :D
