I have $65 in cash, $45 in Target gift cards, will sell some PS2 games (about 20, especially Guitar Hero 1, 2, and 3, with a GH2 guitar, and a wireless guitar.) Every game in great shape and guitars to. Looking at around a total worth of those games and accessories, would be around $150 at Gamestop. $260. Enough for any one of these products. I am going crazy over which product to get. Help me please. Please be honest with what you would suggest.

360 is your only choice since Gamestop only does store credit.

Edit: I also hate to burst your bubble but you won't get crap from Gamestop. You would be better off trying to find someone who can put them on Ebay for you.

Are there any games that you really want for the X360 that aren't available for the PS3?

Do you already have an mp3/video player? If not, how much are you planning on using it for playing videos? My wife and I use the touch to watch movies while we exercise, so the larger screen on the touch is nice. Do you need an FM radio or web browsing capabilities?

Looks like we need your answers before we can give you ours.

I have no reason really. I just wanted to get something like these choices. I don't really know, sorry to say.

You should definitely think about what exactly you want than or you will regret your decision later on.

My brain and heart now voted nay to Xbox. Now what, nano or touch?

Well then, where can I get cash for selling these games, for good cash?

I have an iPhone, it's cool because it does everything under the sun and makes calls. The iPod touch on the other hand isn't cool because it does a lot of stuff but you have to be connected to wi-fi in order to use it and some of the good apps won't work on it because they require mobile data. It's a glorified PDA which went out of style in the early 00's. Smart phones are where it's at now.

I think Nano's are fairly worthless too, not nearly enough space on them. If you want a iPod why not get one of those 120GB classic ones? That's what I have an I can fit my entire music collection on it and still have 60GB left over...yes I have 60GB of music.

The 360 is pretty good, there are some great games out for it. Forza being one of them, also Mass Effect and it's sequel are all kinds of awesome. You also get Test Drive: Unlimited and PGR3 & 4. Sadly my 360 doesn't get used as much any more since PC gaming is where it's at for me.

I have to disagree on the iPod Touch, it's a marvellous little device, and plenty of free apps/games you can get for it too. 👍 I'd steer clear of the Nano though, it's pretty useless compared to the other models.

But the big question here is: what do you want? A portable music player/handheld game device or another console?

I'm with Joey.
I have a Classic, and I have a crapton of music, movies, video and audio podcasts, tv shows, etc and I still have over 50 GB left over.

I also have a connector to plug my Classic into my TV so I can watch movies on the TV.
Like taking all your DVD's on a road trip without having to find a place to keep them and the DVD player.

Where's the "other - please specify" option? Because if I were you I wouldnt buy an Ipod/Iphone/Iwhatever. I'd rather buy a MS Zune, but hey that's me. Um about the X360 it really depends if you need it or not, if not don't buy it.

The Zune HD isn't bad but for a touched based MP3 player the iPod touch is better since there is more support out there for it. The regular Zune is decent enough I guess but mine failed on me prematurely and I wasn't really happy about that.

Well if you want a mp3 player for cheap just look up the zunes on ebay. I had a black 30GB zune before. The only problem I had with it was just the software on my parent's computer. I only had problems because the software claimed that I did not have usb 2.0 ports on the computer.

Sounds like X360 is already out, but I just wanted to say, X360's strength are not in games, IMO. By now, there are no X360 exclusive games that my friends are excited about. They are all on PS3.

I love my X360, not because of the game(s) I play on it(they are also on PS3), but people who I play with. Most of my local friends are on Xbox Live. This could change in the near future, however.

I'd definitely go for an iPod Touch, but you MUST get a 3rd generation model ABOVE 8GB for these reasons:

1. Faster Processor
2. Better graphics chip
3. OpenGL 2.0 Support
4. Oleophobic screen (the oils from your fingers don't stick to the screen as easily)
5. 802.11N WiFi support (with a future update)
6. Slightly less power consumption (so, longer battery life)
7. Tons of storage (32GB is the same price as last generation's 16GB, along with the benefits above)

And all of the above make a huge difference, especially the first three. Planning on jailbreaking? Emulators are known for being notoriously slow. On the 3rd gen models above 8GB (which has the slow processor, still), it's perfect, with no lag. COD Zombies runs smoothly on high, whereas you have to keep it on low on the 2nd gen models and the 8GB 3rd gen.

It may be $300, but it's worth waiting until you get the money. Trust me, I did.

EDIT: Oh, and keep an eye out for refurbished models. Got mine for $250 off of Overstock.

Hey, here is an option that is better than all those combined. Go to the nearest Credit Union, and open up a savings account, and deposit that cash. That's called being an adult, you'll grow to like it. That's way better than some xbox or iPod.

"XBL: A "bag of oranges" is more fun"

But you want an Xbox 360?, whats wrong with the Playstation?

I've changed my mind on the Xbox. The bag of oranges part is part of a line from Family Guy with Bing Crosby.

And i have decided to get an Ipod nano. Costs less and I have some other suggestions with the left over cash.

Good call! No need to put it in the bank when it could be playing music for you. Can money do that?!?! I think you'd be better off saving for a good PC and using PC and PS3 for gaming because PC will cover the XBox exclusives that come to it like Mass Effect and the like, just not Halo I suppose, but PS3 does have some good shooters. I'm going to add you to psn Croooooow never noticed you had it. How much storage is on your nano?

Thanks man! It's going to be a black 16gb.
And what does the touch have that the nano does not have by the way? And what does the nano have that the touch does not have?

Well, the touch has a touchscreen. Plus you can get apps and games and stuff. Plus there is other stuff that I'm sure the apple site mentions.

touch has a touchscreen that the nano doesn't have
180,000 apps that the nano doesn't have
brighter screen
better for watching movies
web browser
etc
etc
etc

as for the nano, it has a click wheel as opposed to a touchscreen, but that's really a downgrade. it has click wheel games as well, but there are less than 50 of them last i checked. and the 185,000 apps covers all of them, so that's not something in the nano's favor.
in short: nothing.

and the ipod touch is getting os 4 this summer.
