Hi im wondering what i should buy, Call of duty( any one ) or uncharted 2. Please let me know what you think

Well, you're talking about 2 completely different games here.
If you are interested in action/adventure games you should go for Uncharted, but if you're a first person shooter kind of gamer you should go for Call of Duty. But I would buy both if it's possible.

Well im looking at the online portion of both in multiplayer , which one has a better online

Ive bought Uncharted for story mode, it has a multiplayer but I don't think it's as big as Call of Duty.
Some people I know buy CoD just for online gaming.

I recommend you go for older ones if you're thinking of purchasing one from the series of Call of Duty, though it depends on individual taste to appreciate whether newer pieces are enough enjoyable/suitable for you or not. Some prefer older series such as call of duty 4 and tend to continue playing them for a longer time, while some do like ones that recently got released in contrast.

If you want to grasp how shooting games are like I think you can choose Uncharted 2, being eager to experience more "realistic" world in the battlefield you can pick up Call of Duty.

They are different, and to stress this, Uncharted 2 is third-person, which brings a different strategy into play (using the camera around corners while staying still).

Depends on what you mean by better. More people? That'd be most cod games. More fun? That's up for debate, but I had and still have a lot of fun with Uncharted 2, almost every cod game got way too boring way too fast.

If you're buying this on PS3 btw, I would actually avoid COD4 and MW2. I'm not entirely sure, you'll have to do some research, but last I heard they were pretty full of glitched lobbies with hackers, some even messing up your stats. Maybe someone can clear up if they are still like that though. You won't have that problem with Uncharted 2 though.

Also, keep in mind both franchises you are interested in are getting a sequel this year, so the player count will drop when they are out, more with Uncharted 2.

Uncharted is also platinum so it won't be that expensive.

It totally depends on which type of game you prefer, if money is your stumbling block get them both pre-owned, Uncharted 2 will be dirt cheap as it's platinum now and you'll pick up CoD MW2 or WaW for buttons as well. You probably pick up both used for the same price as one of them new.
