IE does this on every website I go to, not just GTP. What's up with that?

Oh, and by the way, I absolutely despise Firefox, so don't be a smartass and recommend I use that instead. ;)

I think it's having troubles loading the website, it's probably missing part of the website code or something. Making it fark up?

Could it be that IE thinks your resolution is set at somereallybignumber by someotherbignumber? That would be stored in the registry.

To check, log in on a different account (which will get you fresh registry settings).

If that fixes it, I don't know how you would go about fixing your normal account.

Firefox own5 j00 f00 !....

Ehhh... That does indeed look very very odd.. Have you been through the usual list of Antivirus, adware, CWS shredder etc. list of programs ?... Did you clean your IE cache, cookies, files, temporary whatever ?...

Visited any odd telephone pole pr0n sites lately ?...

Just one question though - howcome you _despise_ Firefox ? ... Just curious, that's all..

Because Firefox is slooooooooooow, sluggish even. And it's not because I don't have enough RAM, either...

Still trying stuff out, we'll see how it goes.

Heh. Hit the big reset button, and now it works.

Says the man driving a Ford Laser...

Why yes, but it happens to be a Ford :D

With my computer I never need to reboot to fix problems, however on the family computer it's always needing a reboot to fix everything. Stupid mothers clicking '100,000 SMILIES!!!'

Thats interesting that you find firefox slower than IE. I've comapred and firefox seems faster for me. It might be that I'm on dialup though.

I find that Firefox is faster at rendering pages, but pretty much all other operations are slower than IE. For example, it takes five times longer to restore a Firefox window from the taskbar than it does an IE window.

To speed up the initial loading times right click on whatever shortcut you use to open FF and in the "Target:" text box attach a ` /prefetch:1` to the end of it (minus the backticks). That generally cuts the load time down to about one half what it used to be.

I've used FF for 3 months now and I won't be going back to anything else. No gripes about it and I despise IE.

One thing that has been pissing me off since, I'm not sure if it was my move to XP Pro or my move to FireFox - is that if I have multiple windows open, for example: Firefox, MSN Conversation, Calculator

If I have the MSN Convo open in the background with the Calculator in the foreground - and want to go to the FireFox window I'll click it but it wont expand. I have to minimise every single window to get to the FireFox window.

Even if the FireFox window is open behind the MSN window it still wont bring it forward, I would have to minimise the FireFox window by click on the FF button in the taskbar twice (one to select, one to minimise) and then again open it up.

Ideas? Confused? Or am I talking out of my ass?

If you haven't gotten it fixed yet you could try, Tools>Internet Options. Then click on the Advanced tab, then click on Restore Defaults. Try Clearing cache and temporary internet files. If that doesn't work and your using an OS older than XP you could try a repair.
*EDIT*
Make sure your security and privacy settings are set to medium or lower as well.

That definately sounds like an explorer.exe problem. If it is, you will need to do a clean format of you HDD to fix this.
