OK, new game. It's called "What The Hell Is It!?" You post a picture of something that you have no clue what it does or its purpose. People then try to guess what it is and when/where/how/why it was used. Since it's my game, I'll go first.

OK, "What The Hell Is It!?"

Several close guesses include:

  • Hemorrhoid Remover
  • Electrified Fooling Machine
  • Pogo Stick for Midgets

Beats me, utterly.

Flux Capacitor?

A poisonous flamethrower? A gun of sort that shoots asbestos and kills people 30 years later? I dunno, that thing is weird.

Is it something to measure exhaust temperature or gases?

Engine oil temperature?

Cool game. An Austrlian TV show called "Collectors" runs the same thing every week, allowing the public to guess before giving it to the judges (specialising in certain areas and periods of collecting).

Its got to be something with heat. A solder maybe? Welder? Its got heat insulation where you're likely to touch it.

Maybe its some tool to rivet, but instead of using brute force uses heat to soften the materials?

This is driving me nuts. If I never find out what this thing is, I will never forgive Solid!

it is for clearing the electicity from cars... but not very likely back then...

i have no clue of what the heck this is, so what i did was print that picture out, ill show my dad (hes a master engineer) and get back with infos to you all later 👍

The world's oldest bong lighter. :p

well, here are 3 options: It may have been used for changing and putting the clutch of the WW2 GMC cars into place

It was used to push/pull a pin through the clutch in the WW2 cars

or

it was used to clean/load certain old weapons.

A swirly thing in space.

Something to do with electricity conduction...?
Any of the above posts? :p

It's a folly.

It's an age old GTP AUP inappropriate device!

Electroplating... but with mercury? Chromium-plating device?

The loop at the end could be the ground...

Y'know what... I'll actually go with that... it's a chrome-plating device... which is why it has vials with wires going into them and a huge grounding thingamajiggy at the end of it and why it's magnetized.

its a thingamabob.

I'm pretty sure it's a Lambo, dude.

Some sort of external starter pump/thing for starting a car.

A poisonous flamethrower? A gun of sort that shoots asbestos and kills people 30 years later? I dunno, that thing is weird.

A tool to make fritters?
