Was driving in a room just now.

My skyline was racing an rx7, room leader spectating people.

He kicked the RX7 because "the car sounded strange, must be hacked". Poor guy got reported.

He then kicked me, because "I was defending hackers, and my R33 was hacked"

It did 357km/h.

I must have gotten reported too. Imagine polyphony getting flooded with false reports.

What should I do now?

Forget about it and move on. Don't worry about it if you haven't hacked a car.

Unfortunately this is the state GT5 is in right now and it won't be changing much in the near future. Beast thing to do is put it past you and find another server.

How infuriating. I would think hacked accounts are banned, why the vigilantes, and why are they dumb, too?

If you're good or possess good tunes (or both), you better keep a low profile or stay away from the online part of GT5 fo the next few weeks, because this is how GT5 public lobbies will be like in that period of time

I just came from a lobby where the host appointed two people to be "cops" in Red Bull X1's, then ordered everyone to line up with them for a drag race, and the cops then told the host which cars were hacked so the he could report and kick them.

I mean... WTF?

When I asked what the purpose was with the lobby I got kicked as well.
