What to do??? 24 hour Lamans...

I strated this race in the rain with the RM Corvette "09. Just 2 hours in and is still raining. Maintaing the lead, but have a feeling that when the rain stops I'm going to be introuble. Also, hope this the right place to post this, been looking for awhile and hope this is correct.

My bad, should I quit and try a new ride? Or can I pull this one off, hate to get 20 hours in and get blown away.
 
Well, if you have the money, go buy an Audi R10. I could stay in first for 6 hrs in the rain. That was, until a power outage hit my house. :ouch:
 
Well, nevermind. I quit and changed cars. Good thing too, they are much faster on dry pavement. What a fun race though! Looking forward to night racing as I have not done much in this game yet.

Isn't it on par with the Vipers that you can race against in the race? I always see them falling behind 3 or laps within the first 30 minutes.
 
Was probally a bad idea, should have invested a little time on this one. Found some post, and think that help me decide. Of course I was taking care of business in the rain, but when I restarted it was dry. They can motor with 0%!
 
It's possible in a ZR1 RM. I'm actually thinking about using it when I run this race next. Either that or the 330 P4.
 
Dry for me so far since I restarted. Looking cloudy though. Using the 908 Puguet for now and running well. Sitting in 3RD, down about 30 seconds. Catching him by a few seconds every lap, then take a small spin. This is going to take some work.
 
Well, still dry and rocking right along. Sitting in second, and 3 hours in. Still no rain, and glad I did change my ride. What a great race, sun is setting now. Loving the change to night. People are right, if you love this game you need to try this race. That poor Viper, I have blown past that guy probally 5 times since the start.
