What to do about unfair driving?

today i noticed.. i was driving my QTS tuned Ferrari F430.. I drove 320 or something. i was faster than the other GT-R but when i was next to him.. he drove me of the road and i had no control of the F430 anymore..

i think its so sad to drive other people of the road.. its just unfair.

or sometimes in the corner.. they drove me al the way to the outer way of the corner and then they give me a penalty..


what can PD do about this? sometimes you can't drive a race fairly because of other people playing unfair?


should we write the people down who play unfair?

That stuff happens often in FM2... my trick is always to stay behind those players and apply pressure.. they *always* break and make a major mistake; flying right in kitty litters, spin out in a tight curve, outbreak ... whatever. And then you can just continue on your way... :)

On the last page of your game manual you have an address which you can write to regarding to this matter...

Its unfair, its true. But it happens in all games, and its a bit hard to overcome.
 
Use your head, watch them and just pounce when they make a mistake, Oh then laugh loudly LOL This behaviour will calm down, but in the meantime just drive smart, wait for there mistakes, allways take the inside line and avoid big pileups by staying behind a group of racers till they all go off in a cloud of smpoke together, First course online at HSR I was getting 1st place 90% of the time tonight by racing cleanly and just staying out of blackspots, matchmaking soon put me up with the clean racers.
 
When they allow private room then I think there will be leagues starting up and that is where you'll find clean drivers. And with your friends.

Wait for private rooms or hope for a online mode where you are all 'ghosted'

I admit even tho I have the game, i'm not gonna play online untill I have a substantial amout of cars, becuase I fear cheats, I get really P***** when they cheat me, and I reckon it will happen in my first race.

So just online time trials for now.

Thats actually happens in racing quite alot. Its why you very rarely see people over taking on the outside. Its why commentators describe it as brave.

I do agree with you that the penalty system needs tightening up. Certainly for the lower level races. I've had times where I've been on the inside of turn 1 at the high speed ring with cars just ahead bouncing off the wall on the exit and when they hit me as a result of the impact I get a collision penalty:irked:

But at the pro races it works better, especially cars deliberately braking late so they can ram you to slow down, they just turn to a ghost and go right through you:)
 
Been playing online for the last hour, and its nothing more than a joke, at this current moment I am thinking PD should ditch online unless they make private servers quickly, would rather they use the time to do work on the full game.

I was just racing, got to first, cleanly, got hammered from some random noob behind me, over and over, got penalized, twice, one for apparently hitting him, then the barrier, lol.

I ended up coming last when it was clear that I was a top 3 driver, most likely first in this case.
 
yeah, it's mayhem out there at the moment :crazy: i had some (insert expletive here) just plain sideswipe me into the grass inside turn one at high speed ring

we were side by side and i thought we'd just hold station and try a pass at the next turn. but noo, he just had me off :grumpy:

i had the last laugh though, because i made a quick recovery and went on to win because they'd all had a massive pile up at the left hander just after t1

that was just one race. i had a few others try similar moves, but i was too sharp for them. i've been playing gt since the first one, and i'm well used to
opponents (be they loony ai or now loony live ppl) trying to shunt me

drive clean, be wary, and they'll catch themselves out. in a few weeks time, as has been said before, a lot of the nuts will be gone and we'll have some
great clean racing going on 👍
 
i agree with that hundred percent. you can try what has been said here. try going behind then brake earlier than them but using them as a braking point. they'll just pass thru and you'll get infront at the corner exit.
 
seen some quite apauling driving out there but the majority of the time it's just poor driving rather than deliberate. Been had off once deliberatly and to be honest I tried an overtaking manouver on the straight where I was up against the grass. the noob just couldn't resist, I should have gone to the wider side giving me a bit of room to manouver and avoid him LOL The majority of things is just people racing hard, too hard for there skill, track, car and tyres inevitabley they just go into turns way to fast or brake way too late, just stay on a clear bit of track and allways keep to the inside. iftheres someone already on the inside just hold back chances are he wont be there come the next turn LOL Matchmaking is actualy working very well and sticks you in a race with drivers with similar track times too yourself, persevere and you'll end up allways in races with the quicker guys who are quick because they race clean!
 
amen. just like the guy i raced at the high speed ring, kept on rear ending me up to the first corner, i let him thru, and guess what. he rammed the barrier really hard, he was driving a tuned car too. i just easily cruise away from him :D so funny. i even had time to slow down in the end before the finish line :lol:
 
I tried one game online yesterday in the BMW 1-series concept, and it was kinda fun, but I seriously had problems driving clean because it seemed like the others lagged a lot. It was on the high speed ring and in the wide corners, it seemed like they were swirling back and forth so I didn't know where to pass them :( Bumped into a couple of them but they didn't spin luckily. I did a couple of times though because of that, and of course I get the penalty when rammed from behind. Why?!
 
Frankly I have been racing Suzuka 650 points race for a 5hours now and I haven't met even one really dirty driver, only few delicate bounces...
Maybe PD changed something in matching system in that point too ?
For example I used BNR R34 with N1 tires once, unfortunately it was pointless to drive it so I quite (only that once in 5h) - I came back with better setting but I came back to a race full of F40 (which were driving off the road in most of races that I have seen so far..) and only 8 drivers - is it possible those were drivers that have quite their races ?? It probably was just coincidence but who knows maybe PD id something ?...
 
I hate it when you drive very clean through a corner and someone rams you from behind, sending you miles off! But the good thing is staying behind waiting for some smoke! (Usually happens when I'm last... After someone back stabbed me)... Anyways I hope the "private lobbys" update comes soon enough, and maybe private servers (A GTP one for example)!...
 
Just be glad that usually the bumper car drivers are so bad that they'll be easy to beat, now think if they were better drivers than you AND kept bumping you off the road *cough*Schumacher*cough*. ;)
