What to spend all this money on?

With the Spa b-spec seasonal paying out so much I've bought all the $20 mill cars, the whole OCD, and everything in the UCD plus heaps of high dollar dealership cars, I've rebuilt most engines etc., and bought a load of f40's to squirrel money away for later.

What is everyone doing with all this money?

The Ferrari f40 seems one of the best, there is a thread about it. Basically you get back 0.3 of the new price of any car you sell but can't sell cars that cost $500k or more. The f40 at $450k returns $135k when sold. Not a great investment but it is one way to save up for later.

The thing is if a $15 mill 2D comes up in the UCD when my balance is low it will cycle out again by the time I've done enough races to earn the money for it. I figure this way I can store money for situations like that.

Still looking for better ways to spend it that's why I started the thread. ;-P
 
I don't race in b-spec but I spend my money on c20 mil Jags,c15 mil Miuras and c10 mil Alfa TZ2s and then paint them...I have at least a dozen of each with no plans to get rid of them as money is always there for the taking...👍
 
You could also buy tons of the same car, each with a different set up. Bone stock, tuned without engine/weight reduction, tuned with engine/weight reduction, modded with body kit A, body kit B, body kit C, drift tune etc. Then if you have even more money to spend, have the same car, multiple copies tuned for different PP levels or a specific track.

That'll get you to spend your money. 💡
 
Some advice:

1. Find one of the threads regarding UCD order and find out when your next 2D is going to appear.

If you can't find where you are in the order, then

2. Keep 15 million on hand at all times, check the UCD every 5 races. OR

If you have a 200% sign in bonus and a car/Bob combo that guarantees 6 million at La Sarthe, then

3. Keep 9 million and check every 4 days. Worst case scenario, a 2D appears on day 4 and you have 1 day to win 6 million.

4. Keep 3 million and check every 3 days. 2 days to win 12 million.


What to actually spend it on? I spend mine on all the different coloured FGTs, Veyrons, and X2010s. Also got loads of duplicates of the other expensive cars.

edit: the 2D is actually 12.5 million. The 2J is 15 million.
 
all the cars bought, and all 2nd handed cars expensive than 100k.
If having extra money, I buy all the colors of some cars.

Fair enough, and fine if you want to go that way. I will buy cars that I plan to keep, tune and use.

As for the UCD, that is the beauty of not using my b-spec drivers who remain online. With 200% payout they will fund any 2J or 2D that pops up.

In the mean time, I will gather an armada of elite automobiles the likes of which had seemed impossible four months ago. Here's to special Seasonals!

I hope the maintenance currently taking place doesn't change the situation. That being said, I began the same the process, but only 2 or 3 of each now. Great comment though. If we can continue I will devote my garage to this plan.
 
Buy and fully tune low cars/ Kei cars? My friend uses them all the time in a fun dirty racing room. Lol
 
I'm still having fun dropping wheels on standard cars, but now I buy them again rather than changing the one I already had and then fully tune them in the hope a good seasonal comes along that I can use them in. Also, I have loads of 330s, miuras xj13s and x2010/11s (6 2011s set to online just because...)

Good grief, just listen to me! I ought to go get a life!
 
I must say I have the same problem. I'm only testing my cars (have them all) currently, and doing one race each (plus practice runs on 4 tracks). I still get so much money with it that I constantly have to buy the most expensive cars so the money doesn't go to waste. I'm sending 1 car per day to my second account when I have duplicates that I replaced with lower mileage versions that came up in the OCD. So now I have something like 1200 cars in my garage, and am seriously thinking about just deleting some, because you can't sell quite a number of them and they just clog the garage. What am I saying? Selling them would get me more money, which I don't really need.

Then again, writing this, I realise I could just let my account stay topped up at 20,000,000 and not buy anything. That way I'll always have the necessary dough to buy what I want and I won't have to rent extra storage space for my garage. :sly:

I really just want to make the most of the $ that these seasonals offer, I don't have much time to actually race but can set and forget on spa and come back to $4 mill 26 minutes later. The updated OCD helps but I'll have bought that out soon. Just looking for good ideas on what to buy while the money is flowing so easy.
I could just stay topped at 20 mill or stop b-spec racing (already at level 40) but where's the fun in that?

Alright so the OCD only had three cars I didn't have, and the UCD is basically tapped out.... so I'm stuck at 20 mil with basically nothing but NASCAR cars to spend it on, and I don't care to clog up my garage with a bunch of those.

So I guess I'm done.
 
Umm my driver is only level 19 lol. So can I still win this event? Also what is the best car to put him in? Thanks.
 
I've been using the Mobil 1 NSX. Seems like it can't lose. Even a level 0 bob can win if you wait for 20% track moisture. I did that with RI tires and canceling pit stops on last three laps but have been using ss tires and no stop strategy lately. Haven't tried a new bob with ss yet.

I can confirm that. I was able to win the event with a level 0 Bob on SS. You need to force him to stay at 75% and pace down when around other cars.

buying every premium car is a must really.
 
About a week ago I had $12 million and I checked the UCD. There was 2 Chappy 2Js - both on the front page. I was lucky that I had checked when I did. I knew I had 4 more races before they went away. I B-spec'd the Spa, got $4M, and bought the car that had been there longest. I now had $2 million or so. I B-spec'd the Spa 3 more times and had a small amount left over when I bought the other one. That gave me a total of 3 2Js.

For Spa, I use a Castrol Mugen. It seems slightly better than other NSXs. All my bobs are 37 or higher, and they don't need any guidance or the wet track trick to win.

I've grinded B-Spec so much with the Spa race that I have every Premium car over $500k, picked up 3 Red Bulls, and a couple each of all the $10M or higher cars - one to race, one to sit unswitched. Who knows why I do these things?
