Fuji. I find myself looking at the extra paved areas and wondering how they could be used to make the track actually fun. It's like the designers didnt even know how to get the track right and had to redo it a bunch of times. My favorite is the "tire arch" on top of the hill at the last corner on the straight. I alwyas think maybe the track should have gone up there.

I dont like suzuka much, but better then fuji. Suzuka is a track that demands you take the corners as hard as you can, but if you go just the slightest bit too far, it punishes you harshly.

On a side note, I like Le Sarthe, but I dont like how damn bumpy it is. The AI and Bob dont appear to give a crap that the car is bouncing all over, but it screws me up when I am trying to run that course.

All so very true. Fuji has tight inner curbs but the turns themselves need to be taken wide. It is very hard to learn the best approach and exit to turns.

Suzaka will definitely punish you for taking any turn too hot...but if you take it cool it always feels like you could've carried more speed. As a result, your fastest laps are always ones where you felt like you were going slow. Racing it online is tough too because even the slightest contact in those tough sharp turns can send you spinning deep into the sand pits.

I never race Le Sarthe except for in A-spec so I guess I'm not a fan of that one either.

I don't hate any track in the game, but I don't like Deep Forest and Trial Mountain ... they are classics but I've never liked them.

Start flaming me because I find very boring nurburgring nordschleife.

It is sooo boring, is all the same for kilometers and kilometers.

Fuji is my least fav as well...lol

Suzuka is one of my favs.

Problem I have with Suzuka is the same I have with many of the other tracks in GT. We've had them in every GT game as well as other racing games. Suzuka, Laguna Seca and others are just so boring to race now because they are in every single racing game.

I must be weird. A good amount of my favorite tracks seem to be the most hated.

I love Suzuka, Trial Mountain, Monza, and Grand Valley.

I've grown to hate Laguna Seca for some reason. It was one of my favorites in GT4 but it seems different to me. I'm not sure why. Maybe I need to log some laps in practice mode or something.

I also dont enjoy most of the city tracks (Rome, London, Cote D'azur), and hate Tsukuba.

Daytona, as I despise NASCAR, to me its just not motorsport, its just some brash classless consumerism.

Grand Valley Speedway... it's just bland, boring and unchallenging, it's worse than Barcelona.

TopGear Test Track... idiotic nonsensical track which is only in the game because of a misinformed, moronic, opinionated and childish show in which 3 people pretend they know about cars and think they are the be all and end all of cars.

Special Stage Route 7... sort of.

I actually don't hate it (I honestly don't hate any track in this game), but it doesn't really appeal to me that much. I've only completed one full lap around it, and even that was an invalided one (because of my carelessness). My only use for it are the straights for maximum speed runs and that long tunnel for photo shoots. After that's over, I just quit out. I get over finishing the lap.

I understand you! I have a love/hate relationship with this track. As i like this long challenge, the history of the track, but the track does'nt allow mistake. One mistake can take away the victory.

Fuji - no flow at all, that last section is bloody annoying! (F1 drivers hate it aswell)
Monza (oooh controversal...) Flatout/chicane/flatout/chicane...repeat yawn
La Sarthe - see above.

I'm going to buck the trend and say I actually quite like Cape Ring....

I too have a love/hate relationship with Nurb...got to be in the right mood for it lol

i have a hard time maintaining any kind of line in nurb. i have a bad memory and no matter how many times i race the track i can never remember the proper method to make a turn.

i also fail horribly at tokyo...

Tsukuba. After 4 hours enduranse I hate it and after 9 hours I was shoked how stupid is this track and for what reason is double same circuit for that long endurance :nervous:

Fuji is one of my most dreaded, for some reason I can never do a properly clean, decent lap, the corners are sort of high speed, but also requires going just slow enough without understeer, if you get me. Weird. The 90's one from GT4 I was okay at though, strangly.

Another track I sincerly dislike is Cape Ring Full, waaay too long and there's something about it I just don't like, hard to put my finger on. Periphery or something is okay for me however.

Are you from Morris Marina Owners Club?

Cape RIng - Too long;
...
Rome - The GT5 version is dumb, I'd like the original GT2 version in GT5;
...

Those are my thoughts exactly. GT2 version of Rome > GT5 version. Cape Ring Full is almost like a half-assed version of Complex String. It's not difficult enough to enjoy, but it's not easy enough to make you say, "A race on Cape Ring? Oh, I don't mind. Let's get to it."

Tsukuba is the worst track in the game simply because it's endlessly shoved down your throat.

Cape Ring is a fun track but it's a pain due to its length. It's always the longest race of a series. There are also too many races on them. Very few Monaco tracks but Cape Ring is in like every series.

Pretty much all of my disliked GT4 tracks are gone (along with my favorites...) but I'm not a big fan of Tsukuba and Suzuka, simply because I suck at them.
