What Tune ups can be done in gt4

hi all i am new here, i have been trying to find out for ages what tune ups we will be able to do to the cars when gt4 is out. will there be much more than in gt3? i hope so.

i hope so....gt3 was good but there is loads of room for extras. hope it proves to be as good as we all hope. does anyboy else know of any more?

ah yes, and dont forget KY hinted you can change the size of your cup holder to accomodate different size cups, and fitt out your H2 with LCD monitors of various sizes.

As long as we can adjust the blinker fluid, I'll be happy. You couldn't change it in any previous GT, and I just wasn't happy with that. You need to be able to change that for proper car balance and visibility.

I am hoping for morew options in GT4. In GT3 every tune up was put in a package, but I would have liked a system where you could pick certain parts for your car which would in turn affect your car in different ways. Say you chose a very large turbo but no other engine upgrades, you might be faced with a engine explosion or poor performance. I also think that it would be neat to have a wheel design system so you could design and color wheels. That really wouldn't fall under the category of performance mods, but would still be a mod nonetheless. i'm sure GT4 will have numerous tune ups availaible, and I hope to see ones that allow you to affect the downforce of the car.

funny how people always make comments about cars and "noobs" yet i rarely see intelligent automotive knowledge come out in threads. some people are just curious and just came here recently and dont wanna waste the time to search and read every previous thread for the past 4 months just to make a few people happy. this is just a video game. seems like the biggest **** talkers know the least about cars, engines, and racing...theyve just been here for a while. i'd love to carry on an automotive conversation with some people from here in person or we could run around a track a few times. this will never happen though so i supposed we'll just have to keep hearing about reposts, flaming, etc...and everything else that makes this website such a learning tool.

True, but what I'm saying is that in an automotive forum, people go there to talk about cars, here people want to talk about GT4, yes that includes car talk but it isn't car talk it's general game talk. There are people here who know about cars but mixed in with threads about graphics, GT4 v Forza and how much Cr will you start with? means that the car threads are used by a high percentage of the not so uch car fanatics on here.

Totally!!! My friend just put some high lift cams in his FD. Its super sweet now. Gonna get the heads ported and polished soon, with some larger valves to follow. Should be real fast!!! And, I also hear, if you go one temp range colder with the spark plugs in your VW TDi, you can get like 30hp and 45lb/ft, good mod for you TDi drivers.

In actuality this topic hasn't really been covered before - we've got a few contemplating one or two things that could be added or changed but nothing conclusive or comprehensive.

i understand that this is a game forum but people make comments as if they are superior to other people whether it has to do with cars, video games or whatever and its pretty annoying. im just saying that in most cases, most of these people know almost nothing but the basics when it comes to automotives. oh, and btw, diesels do have glow plugs which isnt much different than a spark plug except it doesnt spark. its more like your car cigarette lighter. and actually, u can change cc temps on diesels to affect performance so watch what u say with these cliche engine mod jokes.
