Honestly, after completing most of Beginner and a few Amateur races in my Evo VI RS, I decided I would never run more than one series or Enduro in any car, because it gets too boring. So I don't have a "top three"; I try to vary around as much as possible.

Well, I tend to like cars in stock form. Many I have over 500 miles with stock or near stock upgrades.

Toyota MR-2 (251 hp) w/ 545.7 miles
Tommy Kaira (stock) ZZS w/ 520.4
Ruf RGT (4 in various tunes) 990.3 miles in total.

And that's just this game.

Ford GT40 Race Car
Nissan Z Concept

The Speed 6 and GT40 are easily my favorite cars in the game. The TVR has a lot of charm (in other words, it's a pain in the ass to drive until you get used to it), the engine is superb in its ability to pull the car from just about anywhere at anytime, and it handles predictably.

The GT40 has a lot going for it - The snarling engine that just sounds so cool in the replays, the immense torque that comes with that engine, the way its nose tracks exactly where you point it, the very effective brakes... it has almost no faults.

Admittedly, the Nissan Z was more of a stretch... while the Speed 6 and GT40 are definitely my favorites, I don't really have too much preference after those two. The Nissan has a few inherent problems - The front tires lose grip too readily, the engine lacks punch, and she's a very fat Betsy. But, the handling is great. It's one of those cars that really rewards you if you plan out your line carefully... she can fly if you don't pull unexpected moves.

-RUF RGT (hands down my fav. car in the game, stock or fully tuned, doesn't matter, TC and ASM off as well!!)
-Subaru Imprezza Proto (one road OR rally)
-Pagani Zonda race car (my fav MR and race car in the game! What's not to love...it looks sexy, great handling, great tuning and mod possibilities, sounds great and it's Italian)

I'm on my 4th play thru for the game, the 2nd and 3rd play thrus I tried almost every car in most races and the above list has settled to the ones I always have in my sim garage.

Lately I've been tuning a Cobra R for rally.

I think my cars with the most miles are Escudo, Esprit V8 SE, and GT-R34... I think.

I've won one of these things a few times. I drove one once, put about 50miles on it and sold it, from them on I sell it if I ever get it. If GT3 had a hill climb in it then this is the car otherwise IMO it isn't fun at all to drive, especially if you fully mod it...which then it becomes about as good as an arcade game car to do wheelies and flips like in some old Sega game....put machine guns on it and it is like the car from spyhunter.

Go figure the only other car in the GT3 I can't deal with are the skylines, any of them...imagine my surprise when I first came here a few weeks ago and found how many people here liked these two cars as much as they did. Prior to that I considered both a sad yet cruel joke of the game designers.

I have added a Skyline something or other (there are so damn many of them) to my sim garage with no modifications other than medium tires. I've put about 80miles on it trying to figure out what is so spiffy about it and still can't. I can see why some people like the, especially for drifting (another thing i don't "get") but for my tastes and driving style (or lack there of) I'll take a stock mini or something. I haven't sold the skyline yet but I think it will just gather vitual dust in the corner of my sim garage, next to dust outline of where the Escudo sat for a while...

*It's my most favorite car in the game, because it is the total package. It's quick off the line, and more than fast in Top Speed. It's an awesome car. I drove it alot to stack up the miles and the horsepower. I did add AWD, and now, nothing beats it. It's the top dog in my game.

2. 911 (996) GT3
Power: 460HP
Top Speed: 195mph

*Though it's not very powerful, it's a rare car, and it's a Porsche. After creating it, I found myself driving it alot. It's got impecable handling, and it's quickness is pretty quick, I find myself out running alot of GT cars, off the line anyway.. And through tracks with alot of turns. It's a pretty fun car.

3. Chevorlet Corvette ZO6
Power: 807HP
Top Speed: 240mph

*Eh.. I love this car, but it's hardly a ZO6, seeing how I took out it's V8, and threw in a V-6, and a Turbo. It's also AWD. I drive it alot, just because it's a fun car to drive. It looks, sounds, and drives perfectly. I am however looking for a V-8 Turbo engine...

1. F686/M alot of fun to drive, but im only 30% complete the game so i still have alot of cars to try yet.
2. ZZII fast, sexy and I want one.
3. GT40 Racecar badass car in the game even cooler in real life, nothing can give you a grin bigger than a 70's 80's Racecar too bad there arent any 962's in here

FAOLIU05: If you want a V8 Turbo engine, it's fairly simple.

Find a turbo you like the noise of. Bolt it on with the Gameshark/mk's. Invert the power multiplier value of the turbo and enter this as the car's power multiplier. Bingo-bongo, you've got a V8 Turbo with the same power as before.

Yeah mine has like 4 thousand miles on it haha! Most of those miles aren't put on by me, they were rubber banded on in speedway endurance as I go to bed lmao!
