this is for if the track is in GT4 but anyways what version do you want the most to be in GT4

I want none of them. I think it's a stupid track with too many hairpins. I want high speed corners.

But anyway I vote for GT1 version with it's tricky bus stop chicane.

That's the part of it that I liked most and I was ******* pissed when they brought the track back in GT3 and it didn't have it!

yeah I remember how I used to curse that part of the track when I was new to GT:lol: .It was sooo hard!

Same here that's why I loved that spot cause just that one spot pretty much made that track so challenging.
Funny thing is after I noticed they took it out in GT3 I started looking all over the track for the spot that marked the beginning of the part of the original track that they took out and I found that with no problem but I still have yet to find the spot where the whole part of the track that they took out ends. So I know this would seem silly, but if anyone knows where the spot is please tell me. Cause for some strange reason I want to know.

Like maybe if someone could find a map of the version from GT1 and a map of the version in GT3 that would help a lot.

Just do a google search, I've seen trackmaps on several sites. And I think there is a thread in the GT1 forum with trackmaps.

here's the version from GT1

I like the GT1 version. Much more challenging. I'd love to take an F1 on it.

If I remember correctly, the license test in GT1 for the track was with a TVR Griffith, kept me awake for hours trying. Can't remember the car for the GT3 license test.

A Griffith, incidentally.

I much preferred the original. It was so much better, i just can't see why they even bothered to change it.

I think they changed cos they saw so many people cursing that part of the track, and took it the wrong way, I think most people cursed it a good was as in the bastard caught me out again type stuff but PD thought it was'nt liked much.

I hate both of them. But if the track has to be included. It would be ok if they put them both in. But didn't require either of them to be run in reverse.

Heh, funny, Gil.

I like the course from the GT1 game the best. The GT3 version is not as challenging, and fun as the GT1 version.

I would like to see it in GT4 no matter what version it is though.

same here, but the more challenging version from gt1 would add to the replay value of the game for me. the more challenge a game has for me the more i would play it, especially since they are improving the ai.

I voted for GT1's but I think what Gil said would be best. Have them both but no reverse for either.

I voted for GT1 version. However I've seen a *new* trackmap of R11 and it appears to have both courses marked on it.

I'll try and find it for you

GT1 with the Christmas trees and fairgrounds :D

Perhaps, but I'm serious. I really don't like the course all that much. But it is a heck of a lot easier to drive in the "proper" direction. In the reverse direction, the camber of the turns is all messed up and it is just plain unpleasant to drive.
It is the only enduro in GT1 that I haven't done. Simply due to the poor physics engine (IMHO) and the funky geometry of the turns going backwards.
Of course, I was "spoiled" having gotten GT2 first and GT1 way later, to "fill out my collection".
After experiencing the funky drift-based handling of GT1, I understand why GT2 HAD to be made.
The tires, even the supersofts were like driving on snotty glass.

GT1 version every time, same reason as everyone, the bus-stop chicane. So much fun once you got to grips with it.

Lovely track for drifting as well.
