My biggest mistake in GT6 is buying a SC430 GT500 Base Model instead of buying a HSV-010 GT Base Model because i taught the SC430 would be enough to beat GTRs, NSXs, HSVs etc in Suzuka 10 Laps

Silverstone 10 Lap Challenge
This was my first attempt at an S Event. I went with my beloved Audi R18 TDI '11 and was catching the others comfortably. I was aware that tyre wear was active now but it never occurred to me about fuel usage. As I turned the last corner on Lap 8 the car chugged to 79kmh. Several panic-stricken seconds later it clicked so I decided to turn around and drive back into the pit.
However, as I panicked I failed to go back far enough to trigger the pit activation and passed right through the pit without anything being done. As a matter of defiance I finished the race at 79kmh being lapped by virtually everyone.

I went straight back in and did it properly but I felt like an idiot!

i had problems with Silverstone 10 Laps but if the Long Tail F1 GTR is in the race, you're going to be in big trouble but still even though i lessen the power of my Mazda 787B to allow to enter the race, the F1 still beats me but however I was able to beat the F1 with my new friend, R18 Prototype
My second attempt to win Silverstone is by using F1 GTR Base Model and it was easy but better be ready to use your pit tactics because the GTR TC might beat me also.
The third and last attempt to win Silverstone is by using my Stealth Leader(Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car), it was easy but however, you need to at least use Racing Hard tires because the car loses grip easily.
 
I'm on my 3rd play through of the career.

Not by choice.

First PS3 blu-ray drive packed up by national A.

Borrowed a friends unused ps3 to get my fix. Ended up getting to the red bull events to farm money and build cars.

Finally replaced my ps3 and starting from scratch is not as fun as I'd thought it would be.

Never did the 20mil glitch with any of them.

Meh.
 
Buying a Nissan Leaf for the Electric Circuits event. I think that's the name.

Probably not buying the Dino 246 earlier. It handles so good I could win the MR Challenge with it stock. Such a nice car.

I also bought the Jeff Gordon NASCAR, and then 15 minutes later I won it...

Taking the rocket on le mans s class. It just doesn't have the acceleration needed to beat the others, or the top speed on the straights (A.K.A 85% of the track). Peugot 908 to the rescue though.

Entering the Audi R18 into the 24 minutes of Lemans only to find out that the lights did not work and that I had only RH tires for it.

RH tires in the rain at night with no headlights did not work out so well ;)

My biggest mistake was buying both the black & white versions of base models thinking that they'd continue to look different when re-painted, they don't. When you re-paint them, the writing on the car changes from black to white depending on the paint colour.
 
Let me think , maybe buying GT6 ...

buying Mclaren F1 Gtr base model and not the Kukosai uk mclaren
 
Accidentally buying a Ruf BTR for the MR challenge, then finding out it was RR. (Yeah I have about 10 mil so that money went straight to my head.)
