Actually, we're talking about first GT5 car. But I must say that a Typhoon is an awesome first real life car. My first real life car was a 1988 Chevy Cavalier that blew it's water pump once a month. Man, that thing was terrible.

A ridiculous Honda Jazz 1.4 DSi SE Sport '01 in Eternal Blue Metallic. Although, it's an alright car. I still remember it when I see one on the streets. 👍

My first car in GT5 was a Toyota Celica SS-II (ZZT231) '99 in Super Bright Yellow.

Same here. Toyota Celica (standard). Couldnt change wheels, couldnt bring to photo travel, no interior view. So my first car experience with GT5 was not a good experience at all.
Later I bought the 69 Camaro and luckily it was premium so that helped a little. The 2.0 update is what got me into GT5 because it added generic interior views to standards. Sounds like this next update is making it even better because now we will finally be able to change wheels on standard cars.

As soon as I opened the box, and booted up GT5, I went into Arcade, chose "Time trail", went to Deep Forest, and took the Volvo C30 for a couple of laps. I don't know why I did that.

As for GT mode, I bought one of the Premium Miatas. The one that has the classic style wood steering wheel and gear knob. Very fun car to drive with only 160HP. I love it

I know, I know... I don't have a massive wing at the back of my car, or carbon fiber hood or flashy wheels with racing tires. I'm boring, yes... But keeping my cars clean is what I like...
