Same principle as the 'most embarrassing moment' thread; except you post your proudest moment. :sly:

Mines would probably be.....

Finally beating the SuperCar Festival in my Camaro SS '10. :p
Sure it's not a big deal now, but back in the early days of GT5, when I knew nothing, it was so fulfilling taking that car and finally winning.

Then I realised I got the Maserati GranTurismo S as a prize, and I mega :D.

What's yours? :)

Completing my first non-stop A-Spec endurance and learning how to drift.

Tried the 24 hours of Le Mans then I quit. I got 3 hours in and thought it felt like 24 hours.
I'm going to retry it sometime along with the 24 Hours Of Nurburgring.

Thought of this actually xD

I was proud when i was racing against a team of players who used wheels and gave them a good fight with my DS3!

They were saying like: "He is a good driver"

Nice question.

Back in Gt4 It had to be passing Mission 34 in one go. But what in GT5 comes close to that?

Winning the Historic Race car Aspec event at Monaco - In a Shelby Cobra - road car. That took some seriously singleminded driving to get past the lead cars... and then stay ahead of the Chaparral TooJay... One mistake and it is over... no downforce... (And no ABS/ TCS either - glutton for punishment I am, me!)

That was back when I could not afford a 60's race car at 20,000,000! and Even the cheaper 60's cars ... (Racing Stingray of Bob Bondurant say) had not turned up in the used car lot.

Not sure if I won a 60's racer for completeing all the races... or not. Still get the shivers when I remember running that hard at Monaco. - It took several attempts to beat them.

I imagine that the GT5AI version of GTPlanet has my AI drivers laughing at how their pet Human driver took so very long to beat them at Monaco - And he tried to beat them in a Road car.

Ha ha ha ha They are obviously most primative people!

Mine would be when I finally get the Lister Storm then I would have every standard car.

Has to be winning one of the original Supercar Seasonal races in a Daihatsu Mira TR-XX Kei car. Driving like a mad man through the corners to pass all those exotic Italians and then trying to hold them off down the straights. Felt absolutely epic and I've still got a save of the race a year and a half later.:lol::gtpflag:

That's really epic.

I'd love to see that replay. :p

Definitely doing the A spec Historic race cars and winning in my corvette race car probably one of the hardest and stressful things I've ever done in GT5 especially back in the day :) . I'm sure everyone here remembers the 2J on Cote De Azur

Beating the toyota 7 at deep forest raceway with a ferrari 512BB
OR
Getting gold on vettel challenge @ monza

1st for me would be winning the A-Spec Historical Cup at Monaco. I struggled so much there and sprang for a $20-million Jaguar. That was before I leared how to really tune!

After 50 tries I took the lead early in the 3rd lap and defended for dear life. My heart was beating so fast as I approached the final chicane! I secured all Golds for the series and got a PSN trophy as well.

2nd was when I won against my mates at Pirate Log Racing for the first time, my first online win ever (lobbies with random people do not interest me). Due to my own error I practiced on the completely wrong track and with the wrong car setup, so I told myself I would just try my best given the circumstances. I just made fewer mistakes than the other Pirates but it was a nice feeling all the same. :)

I have many; but the two that stand out are;-
1. Leaving my console on for 3 & 1/2 days to complete the 24 Hours of Le Mans back when there was no option to save and resume. And....
2. Recently getting the Platinum Trophy. The Vettel Special Event at Nurburgring took me 3 weeks to gold by 0.001 seconds! In contrast; Suzuka took 3 days and Monza took 30 minutes.

Getting to level 40 in both Aspec and Bspec. This was before there was remote racing, seasonal races, login bonuses, etc. Now getting 40 is a walk in the park.

Well I got Level 40 in B-Spec before I even started remote racing, I think. While I agree leveling up to 40 for either is much easier than the past, I still have PSN friends who have owned the game for years and still have not yet hit both 40/40 for various reasons. Leveling up still takes time and races, although not as much as when the game first came out.

Defeating the Lancer Evo Super Rally Car with my Lancia Stratos Rally Car in the Eiger Norwand K Trail.

Using the old Alfa Romeo Race car to win the Super car Festival.

First was Gold at Norwand.
Then it was Gold at Indy with the Fairlady.
Then it became finishing in the top 100 of the X2010 Time Trial.
All with a stick.

Lately it's just winning the Seasonal races with a maxed tuned Miata...with my new wheel.

The 2010 GT Academy demo was an early release of GT5, so if theat counts; my proudest moment was getting on the leaderboards & finishing in 58th place in the UK.

Taking the lead on the final straight of an epic online race and winning by 0.195 seconds. Also, golding the Vettel Challenges. I wanted to beat Vettel's sorry 🤬 because I hate him. I got the trophies and then I gave Vettel the finger. I felt so much better after that

Which finger... the one Vettel does whenever he finishes 1st or...?

Completing the B-spec mode 100%. Even though my PS3 died right after the 24 hour endurance race. But hey at least its all completed now. 👍

shelving it for Forza 4

Go troll somewhere else. There's Forza planet. Go troll over there or read a book or something.

Just remembered, The trophy "within one hundreth" (I think that's what its called), I did it with Nascar racers. It was the perfect photo finish.

Golding the FGT World Championship. Especially since the FGT I did it with had barely 900hp due to miles. It wasn't easy, but it also wasn't that hard either. Second I guess is the X1 challenge on DS3.
