A lot of us were in the Drama program and the Art program. One advantage to being low-key was that we got access to a lot of stuff the more visible group didn't; us techies had passkeys to a lot of the shops and artrooms and stuff, and we got to hang out in the drama room in our free time, which was basically a private lounge at the back of the auditorium. Nobody ever went in there and we got to do all kinds of stuff you should never get away with at school.

So I was definitely no jock or popular guy, but I had a great group of friends of both genders.

My same classification. Except I didn't get free passes or enjoy high school for that matter.

the active nerd. I have freak friends, jock friends, goth friends and some female friends. Active geek, cause im one of the cleverest in my year, but i do play rugby (second row), soccer (left back, in the changing rooms) and karate (won 3 medals in 4 competitions.)

i am just plain random in school, i dont fit into any group really, im not a jock, nor a preppie, nor a nerd, but i am friends with tons of people, and nearly everyone in my school calls me spock

Was I the only one who didn't go to prom? I could have (should have), but I thought twice about it and didn't go. It wasn't that bad, I heard it's overrated.

I know quite a few people who have no intentions on going. I'm undecided on it myself. Maybe if I can get a hot date. Yeah.

Heh, I just don't want to spend like 400 bucks on the tickets, tux, and limo.

Or at least that I what I tell myself.

I guess I'd be classified as a "skater/punk", or a just plain "weird" kid. I wear band shirts and stuff, and don't get along with the preppier types too well, well it's more like they don't want to know me. ..Or something. I like being myself, nothing else. :)

Meh... I guess I'm a jock, I stopped playing all the sports except for hockey a few years ago but I still hang out with all the jocks. It doesn't really seem right calling 'em jocks though.
*EDIT* I hang out with the rednecks too, they're my chewin' buddies.:D Most of 'em are jocks anyways.

I am and will always be typical asian "Likes cars and plays Counter-Strike" to my friends.

Does anyone have nicknames that their friends use to call them

For me Junior high and High school. Still goin through high school. "bert or bust"

i wasn't popular but just about everyone knew me by name (though i didn't know them :p). I was just always with a group of people i got along with most.

I was definately considered a computer geek...everyone - including teachers came to me about anything to do with electronics. Hell, I got to spend a few days teaching all the teachers in my school how to use a system I spent a semester developing (the co-op mark REALLY boosted my average)...

On the other end of the spectrum, people knew to never piss me off despite my tiny size. I'm not a jock but I'll still put up a fight against the best of them and win...that got me a bad rep in grade 9 and 10. Also, for short runs (under 10 minutes), nobody was able to outrun me. After 10 minutes or so though, I'd end up severely aggrivating my knee and fall over trying not to scream out in pain...

I am the hottest dude in school, I am also the tallest, also the best looking, smartest, and every other good atribute you can think of.

I am also every bad thing, like, the ugliest, stupidest...

The presures of homeschooling.

I was the Techno/Car geek in High School. A lot of people there liked either punk, rap, or pop B.S (and almost nobody was into cars like I was). Me and about 5-7 people would hang out and talk about anything that came up, though, no surprise, it was usually about one of those two subjects.

We were also very intellectual, and it seemed like we all had some art form we enjoyed (I was the writer in the group). However, we were not snobbish like most of the other smart kids.

People were always surprised by how kind I was. Most of them thought that due to being tall (6'3), I would beat the crap out of anyone. If I truly had a good point it would have been my kindness and selfless nature around people.

And Viper Zero, I didn't go to prom either (had just lost my job, had no money, but there were a few girls I would have wanted to go with)

im in the skater group. but i get along with heaps of people and have no true enemies. Im seen as .... individual. thats justa classy way of saying 'im kinda strange'. but yeah what ya gonna do.

also, i get called sideshow bob. if no one knows my name, they just say 'oi sideshow'. kinda gets annoying.

but yeah, i wouldnt say im over popular, but i wouldnt say im a loner or anything. i am ..... me

I just have a small group of friends. Hell, there's no point in making 75 friendships with people I'm never going to see again after graduation.

Exactly, i am still friends with people i've known since I was two, there is no point making friends with everthing in site to dissapear after you finish school

Rebel/Hard-ass. I wouldn't take crap, and was glad to do something original, to spice up life.

Heh. Me too. I actually got suspended a couple of times for wearing a confederate flag that was on one of my Pantera shirts. It was pretty stupid, but then again, so is Broward County Schools.

I was the one at school everyone came to for illegal related things. Popular too! I got a way with the ladies ;)
