We just had the most users online ever not too long ago today, so I highly doubt it will become a ghost town...

:D! Yeah, I checked right after I posted cuz I wasn't entirely sure, but yeah. This place is just....incredibly awesome. It's so cool watching people grow over the years and see trends come and go. Who else remembers when Blazin was an "Import Enthusiast"(nice way of saying ricer :P)
Oh oh oh! I do I do!

speaking of which, does anybody remember wayyyyyyyy back to the time when i used to clutter up this forum with posts?(Mainly in the Rumble Strip/Test Forum)

GTP's obviously gonna increase to historical numbers, and then have a huge cataclysmic crash due to an overloading of the servers. Mark my words. ;)

I will mark them, because that is what I think will happen. GTP will just grow immenselly.

What will happen when GT4 is distributed to most of GTP?

i couldn't vote in your poll, becuase there were not enough options.

- GTP will become a ghosttown all except for the GT4 thread.

And that is exactly what has happend. My favorite forum, the Mighty Opinions Forum, is dead. Everything is dead except for Cars In General i think. But with time, i hope everything will return to normal.

And, btw, I do not think GT4 lived up to it's hipe. But it's good, and i'll be playing it.

Yeah, I don't think it lives up to the hype either. However, I have been thoroughly enjoying it, and I've been having an absolute blast.

My personal favorite section of the GTP forums is the automotive part. That's where the majority of my posts have been...

It's like the friend at the party that rips a green cloud. All of a sudden, he's standing alone, and every one else is gone.

That's about the way the GT3 forum looks. Seriously, in 24 hours, it's had 6 replies. :O

The moderating threads in the GT4 forum has slowed, but the server use hasn't. The GT4 forum is loaded with people reading and discussing.

I'm about to fire up GT4 and work through the next license.

Look back a month later, it seems that the GT3 forum is slower that before, but things like the GT1 and GT2 forums have a renewed lease on life. It seems fans of the original games have found our happy little home. Of course, GT4 is just as unreadable as the every site's GT3 forums were around mid-2001.

On the other hand, things like Opinions and The Rumble Strip a lot quieter. Perhaps there isn't enough conflict in each forum, but I think a lot pf peoplel are just playing around with GT4.

Well, aslong as the internet lives, sites like this one we'll always be growing.
