I've always fancied the idea of a V3 with one cylinder possessing twice the volume of the opposing two...
Nobody else? Well you can all bite me.
I suppose if you kept the rotational mass equal on both sides keeping the larger cylinder in the middle of the crank and had a firing order that fired the 2 small cylinders at the same time it would stay in balance. Kinda pointless to try though.
