I searched the forum for a while and couldn't find something similar so here we go - a new mini game where reasonable and down-to-earth decisions are of huge importance.
There are three roles playing the game - Host, Judge and Rival.
HOST - Each week the host announces new conditions which Rivals have to follow when deciding what car they would buy if they had an opportunity and the budget listed within the conditions. Usual format the host should submit should look like this:
Budget:
Family:
Expected Driving Routine
City Driving:
Off-Road Driving:
Sports Driving:
Under Budget you have to select amount of money others can spend on their car. Currency can be set in British Pound, European Euro or American Dollar (e.g. Budget: 10,000 $).
Under Family list number of children you have, whether you're married or single and how many parents you have (e.g. Family: 3 children, wife, 1 parent).
Under Expected Driving Routine distribute Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly to each driving condition: City, Off-Road Driving and Sports Driving. Under Off-Road Driving you can also designate type of terrain you may drive on (Light, Medium, Heavy, etc.). Under Sports Driving you can designate how and where would you race (Circuit, Drag, Public Roads, etc.)
Of course, the Host can add more entries or expand current ones. The more detailed the conditions are, the easier the job for the Judge and Rivals will be.
Before the week is complete, the Host must select a GTP member who will play the Judge role for that week. The Judge then inspects all the submissions and proclaims a winner. The winner is the host for the next round.
The Host must not be the Judge, but can post as Rival.
JUDGE
He gets selected by the host of a current week. His job is to examine all submissions and pick the best one from rational and down-to-earth viewpoint. Age is not important, but to be on safe side the Host should aim for senior members.
The Judge cannot play as Rival or Host.
RIVAL
Rivals are all members posting their own car choices to match Host's conditions. To participate simply quote the conditions set by Host and submit a photo of a car of your choice, along with the full name of the car, its engine level and overall power. It is recommended that you submit price of the car, drivetrain and mileage as well. This can all help the Judge do his job properly.
Use internet sale adds, brochures, car magazines from your local stores... everything that you would use if you had to buy a car on your own.
Rival cannot play as judge, but may appear as Host.
Okay, I'll be the host for the first week:

2006 Volvo V70R, $8,995 130,894 miles, AWD, 6-Speed automatic, 296hp, 300lb.ft., 2.5L I5 Turbo. With the remaining $1,000 going towards a set of winter tires and steel wheels.
The Volvo is sporty, roomy enough for a family, has excellent safety, has AWD for dirt roads/snow, and with it being newer than 2005 it will be more reliable too since the the issues with AWD were worked out for the 2006 model year.

WEEK 2 Conditions
Budget: $35,000 USD (about £25,000 or $49,000 AUD)
