Imagine Kaz invites you into a board room meeting with other GT5 executives. You walk in and they explain that you are here because they value your opinion as a user of GT5. They only have a short time so they only want your top 5 issues. Also before you start they give a disclaimer that they do not want to hear a car or track wishlist.

So here is mine

1: Better penalties for cutting sections (i.e. concrete section of deep forest) or creating a wider turn of the track (various sections of 'Ring GP/F). Also known as the 2-wheels on the track rule
2: Adapt online racing to be more flexible with league play and give room host the ability to see certain parts of the track using either multiple cameras or just on single free-roaming camera instead of using the watch race feature.
3: When hosting a room the ability to pick exactly which cars can be raced in a room, not a group of cars, and not the ones on the recommended list.
4: The ability to purchase paint and gear with in game credit instead of waiting, trading or buying a car just to get them.
5: Create an online marketplace for trading/selling/buying(with in game credits) gear, paint, cars, and museum cards (maybe even b-spec drivers?). Almost like a GT5 ebay.

Try to keep update glitches out of this too there are already threads about them.

1. No TCS/ABS/ASM/Auto gearboxes on cars that predate that stuff, shouldn't have it or never had it. Add it as a tuning option.

2. Put standard brakes back on all the standard cars. Add brake upgrade options. It's not that hard, it's been done several times before by some company called Polydildo Phonital or something.

3. Remove the Aero parts option, or do it properly. The crappy wings are crappy and only approximately two cars get front, back and side aero parts. Which are also crappy.

4. Hire contractors to make all, ALL the standard models match the premium models for quality. Then the game will look less like Minecraft and more like Forza.

Put classic tracks in.
Make extra tuning available for a DLC.
Make the rubbish bumpers on some standard cars removable.

Anyway, i like the auction idea.

Long shot, but...

A matchmaking system for online. Have the game record your lap times, and pair you with people with about the same times. Makes for closer and occaisionally fairer racing. Maybe also have a sort of system where it measures how many times you make contact during a race, and if it reaches over a certain amount, kicks you.

I'd sell it at 1500€ a copy so that people really have a reason to complain about it on the Internet.

Just because you presented your scenario creatively doesn't make this thread not wishlist for future updates. There are already about 10 threads with this topic, but yours is probably the best one I've seen. Plus, all those other threads are dead.

I would use company time and resources to make pointless horns and thousands of ridiculously patterned racing suits and helmets instead of improving the AI, creating leaderboards, fixing the online physics, working on a proper paint system, or refining the user interface and open lobby sorting functions.

Wait... PD is already on top of that stuff. Game must be perfect.

A-Spec -

[1] Id add a GT Auto function icon next to the icons available before and after every race. It makes no sense running a race on old oil. If Im doing DCC or any championship I should be able to change oil before every race as they do in RL.

[2] Id have Transmission, Differential, Suspension, Brakes, Aero, etc tweaking available on every pit stop. I mean thats what they do in RL so why such necessary functions are not available in this game is beyond me. It would add some reality to the A and B Spec races as well as add some drama to pit stratagy. Also in the last 20-30 mins of enduros Id add the Car Wash icon to the pit lane so you can come home looking your best at the finish line. This is done in RL sometimes. Ive seen the Corvette boys do this especially since they were way ahead.

[3] Add the flag system to both A and B-Spec. It should be less severe in BSpec due to the lame AI though lol or every car will be black flagged.

B-Spec

[1] Please add more options to manage. How about instead of just driver % for pit you add something from RL like ta daaaaa: Pit on laps, fuel, tire wear etc. Let me feel like a manager for once lol.

[2] End the driver retirement as it is implemented. They decline waaaay too fast. No driver should be depleted after just a 30 minute race as it just doesn't jive with RL at all. Only time driver fatigue should be implemented is in enduros where hours and not minutes are involved.

[3] Allow us to type in our name of choice for drivers names. The current way is needlessly time consuming and quite irritating to find a suitable name. Just let the player type in his name of choice so they can get back to racing.

I kept it short and simple and just to things that can easily be implemented for the most part. They would greatly add to the enjoyment of the game imho.

Flag Rules...
Remove cement Box on Monza (Cut Tack or Brake Point Maker which should be flow-able)
SSR5 & SSR7 Details up (I couldn't accept the Quality)
Added SSR11
More Rally Cross Event (A lot of Dirt circuit not a spot)
Renew Power Limiter and Brake Balancer

first off i would fix the damn lag issues, the black screens and all the stuff that should have been worked out months ago.

i could care less at this point about what i really want. i just want to be able to join an online room and play. period.

fix the obvious stuff then get back to me.

btw, where is the complaint department to polyphony, this is getting ridiculous. :grumpy:

I would bring back the arcade online TT ranking board, something I sincerely missed from GT5P.

It has! Its called online:)

Then half the time you find that's even stupider than the AI.

So, what would I change...the Super GT roster perhaps?

And get rid of those now completely pointless 2010 NASCARs.

Thanks, I did try searching and didn't really find anything similar. I've been lurking for a few months, especially because GTP breaks news long before the official GT website does. While lurking most threads seem too be everyone stating a car or track wishlist and I want the everyday stuff that could be improved with an update.

Overall I'm happy with GT5, Its the only game that I've played over the last 12 months or so, however, I've a few suggestions:

1. add an event creator tool (see my thread about creating a-spec events to vote)
2. make more real world and made up circuits
3. the circuit creator tool, whilst being a good start should be more flexible
4. improve the AI (not everyone likes online)
5. raise the credit limit (and possibly the car limit)
6. improve comunication, ie losing the seasonals suddenly, would have preferred some notice

1. Decrease the wait times for loading/starting a race
2. Make the credit limit 100,000,000
3. Offer more variety in the Online Car Dealership and change it more frequently
4. Any car should be able to be traded/gifted
5. Car gift/ticket limit increased to 2 per day, Museum cards 20 per day, Horns 10 per day
6. Have more formula one seasonal events, less NASCAR events.
7. User Car Dealership having less cars with insanely high mileage on them and the number of cars that are for sale that you already own are lowered significantly.

Id love a B spec practice mode where you could take your bobs and race them in cars you own against each other or even race against them...........

Better Chase cam
Seeing the car move up/down/side to side Like Gran Turismo PSP.

Firstly, I'd get rid of the horrible leveling system. Secondly, optional B-spec and not part of the 100% completion. Lastly, increased events in and an improved A-spec mode. Also no karts or Nascar.
