What would you change about GT5

Speed up b -spec.
No credit limit.

That would make me a very happy person.

I would like to see:

1) remove the a-spec experience level cap

2) multiple cars to practice with in practice mode or at least garage access from the current track, and a 1 track time register for each car

3) a better penalty system for online or maybe some kind of safety rating system

4) event generator for a- spec mode imagine doing a Formula GT Indy 500 or a Daytona 500 event

5)Refine the the side mirror's view system, for example instead of the view turning a full 90 degrees to view mirror's Lessing the turn to 30 degrees, just enough to see the mirror's without detracting the driving aspect

Other than that keep improving GT 5 with more purchasable premium cars and more tracks ( keep that money flowing) and leave GT 6 for PS4

Lets see... what would I change:

1) The A.I Although it's been improved, it still gets anoying sometimes. That double or triple braking that the A.I does at the middle of fast corners has to go. Not everyone plays online, so to have a game that works in this aspect for solo players would be appreciated. Or at least they should put an option of difficulty like "Beginner - Amateur - Professional" so all levels of GT players can enjoy the game.

2) Prize system: The prize system that GT4 had was probably the best. It would be good to have a prize car at least in championships no matter how many times you do it. The ability to sell any car. A limit of maximum Cr. like GT4's 265k limit would be ok. The price that some cars is exessive, and it's not like they are unreachable, but grinding for them isn't as fun as it used to be. It's fun for the first two or three million, but after that it gets too much of a hassle.

3) Rally events: Rally became part of GT since GT2 and it was always well recieved by fans. Again, GT4 went far and beyond to deliver the best rally experience in any other GT title, though it was not actually like a real rally. GT5 nailed it with the "stage type" rally events, even doing something so cool like adding a co-pilot (something never expected). But again it failed on delivering a purpose to play these events more than two or three times since there is no incentive to repeat them other than for the fun factor. Unfortunately while I enjoy them alot, everytime I want to restart one, I think to myself "I should be grinding seasonals or Indy to get Cr. and exp, intead of loosing time repeating a one hour event that doesn't give me anything." Which is sad... And this takes me to my previous point: Prize system. Every event should give a fair amount of Cr. and Exp, plus a prize car so you're not stuck doing the same events when you need to buy an expensive car.

4) Championship save: Like in previous GT titles. If they gave us Endurance save, then why not championship save.

5) Better use of tracks: A-Spec events lack of variety. It's either Rome Circuit, Monza or the Ovals. There are many tracks unused and many Championships and events that look like the other one. Example: Muscle car "championship" is only a single event in Monza(?!) what does Monza has to do with American Muscle cars? They don't evn run fine in that track due to their short gear ratios. Dream Car championship, Like the wind, All Stars and GT Championship feel exactly the same, and have pretty much the same type of cars. Modern Muscle car championship only has two events, where it could have at least five since there is more than two American tracks. And the list is endless. Again, GT4 was much better in this aspect.

6) Manufacturer Events: They should be back. Just when you though you finished the previous GT's, you went to the dealership and found these special events waiting to be completed. A lot of fun!

7) B-Spec: While I think it wasn't a bad idea, it was poorly implemented. Instead of making it like a "interactive replay" section, why not implementing it like in (again) GT4, where it was actually useful, specially in endurance races. It would be cool if they did a couple of "B-Spec only" special events, but not a whole section that takes half the carrier mode.

8) Liscence Tests: Although the leveling system works, the game desperately needs the old system to be implemented. They could leave the level system for adquireing cars only so people don't go for a Veyron after finishing the Sunday cup, and the classic Liscences to access more events. The game feels more authentic like that. Liscences are a classic feature in GT and one can't help to feel bad because they are actually meaningless in this game...

This is pretty much what I think it would make GT5 a better game. I will not suggest anything regarding new cars/manufacturers, wheels, aero parts, or the whole standard/premium thing. It's easy to just say "give me a Gumpert thing, an Ariel whatever, premium Veyron, Aventador here, Huayra there..." when those are things that really don't make the game a better game. NFS Shift has some of these cars, and the game is unfortunately a bad experience... Forza has some of these cars, and although a good game, it doesn't deliver the feel that GT does. Plus we know how long it takes for PD to make a car.

My opinion, so don't go crazy over it :P

Endurance save that doesn't lock you out of entire game.
Better sound.
Youtube uploads.
Event Generator for A-spec.
And yeah, more rally events, enough to shame a dedicated rally game.

I would separate Endurance races from either A-spec or B-spec mode. I would establish an "Endurance" mode where you can drive the races in either A-spec or B-spec or both (switching between a-spec and the b-spec drivers during pit stops) like in GT4.

I would add an option to not change tires at all during pit stops.

I would homogenize the physics between online and offline racing.

I would add in displays of times beside names for online racing; it would display best laps during free runs and gaps to the leader during races.

I would decrease the grip of the racing tires and increase their durability to make it more realistic compared to real world pro racing series.

Here's some changes I would like to make, they are mainly focused on drift mode.
I would make gear changes work the same as real life (allow flat shifting) even if only in drift mode,
improve the clutch and make it optional for all controllers, or else make it so that when you pull the hand brake in drift mode, it engages the clutch straight away.
I'd get rid of the annoying steering lock limit that happens while drifting some banked corners with the DS3.
I'd like to be able to do drift mode without the points system. Oh and add drift mode to Kart space track.
I would also like to hear induction sounds from cars and not hear a 6 cylinder engine when I change the exhaust on a 4 or 8 etc. cylinder car.
Adjustable FOV.
I want to be able to keep the wheels I buy and change between them when I want.
Full wheel selection for all cars instead of the limited 10 or so wheels we get now, more wheel options like diameter, width and offset, with separate tyre size options too and ability to lower every car to the ground.
I think most of these are not hard to change and are realistically possible for PD to do.

Adjustable tire pressures, longer and more challenging A-Spec along with the ability to speed up B-Spec.

1. Add changing Tire Profile option, some of these tires are just to stupidly fat

2. Add Used Wheels option like in GT4

3. Trucks

OK here's a few ideas of mine:

Change pit animation to reflect current car. Like Le Mans cars have the fuel lines to the car instead of Nascar tanks. Tire guys change to type of wheels on car. Single lug wheels get the 5 lug animation instead. Actually see the air jacks instead of the invisible lift.

I'd settle for just fixing current issues.

Put back in the old tracks if just for arcade mode if anything. I hate learning all these new ones only to have them never use them again in the next version. (I owned all the GT's)

Not putting in pointless items like racing suits and helmets? I still haven't figured out the point of those things. Lot of worthless work.

Make engines sound absurdly & obscenely awesome, quiet down the FC Transmission whine 99%. Done.

A much better track maker; control elevation, drag and click function and add greater banking
A supercharger or turbo available on every car
Paint preview and can paint ALL cars
my 2 cents

A SIMULATED CITY WHERE WE CAN HANGOUT!

Better angles in spectator mode (reply angles?)

Ability to INVITE friends to open rooms

Ability to allow other players to change maps (upon host's discretion) in public rooms

Used rims for used cars

Once in awhile find a premium car in the used dealership

Layered paint (people can be very creative)

1. Trade/Gift any car any number of times, no limits.

2. All cars, paint, gear, and every item in the entire game purchasable with in game credits.

3. No credit limit.

4. No barrier impact or contact penalties on special events or disqualifications on license tests.

5. No seasonals removed, ever.

6. Make it so on every event except dirt or snow, the player always has the option to use any driver aids that they want.

7. DLC events, more DLC cars, more DLC in general. I mean come on PD, I actually want to give you my money for fun stuff in this game, you should be coming up with stuff right this second for me to give you my hard earned cash for.

first off i would fix the damn lag issues, the black screens and all the stuff that should have been worked out months ago.

i could care less at this point about what i really want. i just want to be able to join an online room and play. period.

fix the obvious stuff then get back to me.

btw, where is the complaint department to polyphony, this is getting ridiculous. :grumpy:

+100 This game is darn near worthless without a solid online experience, but lately the server issues have been unforgivable. Fix it PLEASE :grumpy:

This. I'd rather have 20 cars and 10 tracks that work flawless all the time online, than 11ty million cars and 600 tracks. I find that despite having some 1000 cars to choose from in the game, I drive the same dozen or so all the time.
