I just try to use American English all the time because I know it better, and don't want to end up using a mixture of 'em.

Technically I should be using AU English(which really is UK English) but I use US English.

"Southern Australia" uses the same currency as "Northern Australia". Is called Aus Dollars not US Dollars. Heck even Tasmania uses Aus Dollars as well.
