This karting track?

Gran-Turismo-5-Karting.jpg

This was in preview versions of GT5, and yet, it's not in the retail versions? Am I missing something?

Long and short of it, the town it's set in had a problem with it being depicted, and it was pulled.

Someone else will probably provide a more detailed explanation.

Saw this track online in a Fiat 500 race. Where is it?

Piazza Del Campo I think

That's the gist of it, the town didn't authorize Sony to use images of a bunch of flags. I had thought they were going to fix it before launch but it was probably easier to just scrap the track than have to fight with a bunch of ungrateful Italians. :)

The track was meant to be part of the "Grand Tour" special event too, the location is still marked on the map, though not sure if it was also going to be with karts. Great shame though, you would think it promotes the heritage of the town, rather than disrespecting it.

Well, it's just one kart track.
It's just a little problem for Sony and PD.
Too much complaint from the city council, just dump it. :D:tup:
From my opinion, Sony have make a right choice.
Ungrateful Italian (city council). :grumpy:
