If you shut down WhatPulse through the sys tray manually it will store your key count which allows you to shut your PC down.

It's not WhatPulse that will crash. It's when your PC freezes or explorer crash's. You can't manually shut down WhatPulse cause it is frozen, therefore you lose all your keys when you restart.
